I bet you forgot about samsungs regionlock, as it stands now an iPhone offers more freedom to use, as in worldwide. Not all of us are stuck on a farm or mill for eternity, the world has never been smaller but Samsung is trying to make it bigger again.
Anyway, high res 4.3 display and less top bezel and even i will consider an iPhone. However they need to remove iTunes dependency to make waves, a smartphone has to be a standalone device, iTunes is an unclimbable obstacle and isnt even available for Linux, how they expect me to handle content, buy a mac, or have a separate windows computer only for the sake of a phone?

Apple can still make waves in Russia if they will increase their phones' screens to 4.3" and above. In today's world of mobile smartphones, it takes a screen size beyond 4" to change peoples' minds...xpecially if such people have tasted larger-screened, cheaper android phones!

Pardon me but we Russians are not suitable to use such small phone like iPhone.
With our large hands, it's difficult to have firm grip of phone those Americans very proud of.
