I bought ipad on data with EE. guess what? no signal or 1 bar at most when the coverage checker from the shop and EE website says it had signal where I live. Defeats the point calling it EE because its not really everything everywhere with its coverage signal. don't be fooled

Annon, 03 Feb 2014O2 and Vodafone are only getting together on 4G that's it, ... moreand o2 and voda are obsolete for me cos i wont get 4G from them they runing 800MHz 4G I need 1800MHz and EE and 3UK runs on that frequency but WILL NEVER get EE they rippin of bstrds

O2 and Vodafone are not sharing signal, they are just overlaping masts. They use 2 different bands, but will be mirroring each other in terms of where they position their masts

the best part about three is you dont have to pay extra or upgrade its free just need a soft update ;)

this could potentially be a very god thing for three. using the 4g spectrum from ee will just help there 4g rollout even quicker. yes signal can be a problem but i too hope this merge will help that and i belive three packages are better value for money than ee and vodaphone.

EE customer service is soo poor, they are scammers aswell. The other day I changed my mobile number and the ee guy said it will cost £25 then he said oh soz its £35 so I asked him to get the mananger, he took ages to come bwck so I put the phone down to then call back and spoke to another ee guy and for him to say your number is this have a good day. There was no charge nothing, straight to the point and fast service.
also when I rang for my upgrade the ee woman said it will cost £47 a month plus a charge of £150 upfront for the note 3, I kept haggin her and eventually got the note 3 for £30 upfront. Again some ee customer service guys are scammers!!!!! Im sure they pocket the money
The ammount of times ive called ee and had to put the fone down so I get through to a decent ee guy is unreal.
EE should send u a txt about how satisfied was you with that certain ee person and not just ee service etc..
Im happy with the coverage with ee and dont get any problems but they are to expensive!

is this just for 4g? or is 3 joining EE alongside Orange and T-mobile?

I have never be a fan of orange, this is why i have never liked EE. but that being said with data plans and reasonable price plans on Contract/PAYG from Three and 4G from EE I honestly believe that this will beat all over networks O2/Vodafone
