I don't know how are Apple going to price it; if we see the amount of profit percentage they intend to earn.
Bigger phone means more material and I imagine to maintain the profit percentage they are going to price it unrealisitic.
In fact, the 5.5" version would officially break $1000 barrier and become the first phone to do so.

Better Phone, Better Camera, More Customisable and when the battery deteriorates it wont cost me 160 quid for apple to change it. Yes I admit the iPhone is easier to use but then if you get a descent phone then you should have the brains to use it.

Samsung and previously Nokia (pre windows) offer choices in the quality of the photo
Setting could be from VGA 640x480 up to the maximum the setting 8Mp (IP5S)
My move from S2 to Nokia Lumia had a suprise.
The lumia 1020 shoots ONLY 41MP photos which are "cropped" to 5MP for upload
Apple and Nokia only have the one setting so with NO memory expansion, photos use more of the 16GB memory

... moreLOL! There are cameras that will still be better. Iphone always has a good camera, but is always outperformed by Nokia and Samsung.
Sometimes Sony too.
You have the 8o8, 1020, hopefully a software overhaul for the 1520, the Galaxy Zoom, and the Z1. All which will still be better. It might not even fully hold ground to some others.
This is not accounting for whatever comes out this year that trumps the previous versions that the Iphone will have to face.

Anonymous, 06 Feb 2014Nexus 5 utilizes the 800 better than the z1 does. Not according to the benchmarks GSMA ran. GPU's pretty much the same but the Snapdragon 800 cpu is utilized worse on the Nexus than the Z1.

The iPhone has a very nicely balanced camera and most photography-centered sites seem to agree.
But if you disagree so strongly, please do NOT buy an iPhone and do NOT look at photos taken with an iPhone.
This rumor about what looks to be a damned good camera seems to stress you out a bit too much, for no apparent reason.
