So apple get sued for patent infringement is patent trolling but apple suing for rectangles with rounded corners or unlocking by sliding your finger (on a touchscreen!) Is fine.....
Think there's a double standard at work, still if their legal team is defending that then at least they're not suing someone else.

This is a stupid lawsuit and the obvious patent should not exist. Never the less, I hope Apple loses because they deserve some of their own medicine.
This patent is still less obvious than rounded corners, and using a capacitive touchscreen ON A PHONE as opposed to all the other places capacitive touch screens were already in use (It has been said this is like patenting the use of wheels on a tractor. Wheels exist, but using them on a tractor! Now that's an innovation to the user experience!).

Patent troll gets sued by patent troll.

"Seeing as this technology has existed in mobile phones for a long time, and virtually every phone uses the feature, it's hard to see IPCom as having a real shot at getting an amount anywhere near what they're asking for in the lawsuit". This is pretty much the description of every Apple lawsuit. However, Apple gets granted whatever it asks of the judiciary
