I am using this phone since 23rd june 2014, received from samsung estore india. It is good looking phone with latest Android 4.4.2 OS. Value for money.

got this phone 4-5 days ago. phone looks smart but only available in deep black in colour but happy with new os of android kitkat v4.4.2 with a faux leather back. i saw their released date at the box outside that was - april 2014. great new samsung galaxy s 4 for me

Will you be able to use custom cases with this b'cus the leather back is going to be hard to cover up if you get bored of the same colour

Come to think of it. Apple did this also to iphone 5s and 5c. To boost their sales on 5S they put some little margin price on both devices.. This is their strategy.
Now Samsung maybe doing this also to boost their sales on upcoming S5 flagship..

New SGS5 is just around the corner and will bring much better support and hardware (because it will be a flagship) with a tad bigger price.

I have installed the latest official NA4 rom on my phone and it contains all the new black wallpapers, some new ringtones and a new bootanimation sound + 2 additional apps.
