Instead of coming out different colors after post product launch, why don't Sammy invent a camouflage technology that can change the color of the casing at time independent.

This is not another "edition". This is same GS4, just like your GOLD iphone 5S same like your PLATINUM iphone5S, or iphone 5C color variants.
The different back covers(many "editions") for Galaxy you could always buy since years, from Amazon, ebay, or even from Samsung .

Also: My old (2years) Galaxy Note1 frame, didn't "wears badly" at all even seldom used with case(for the kickstand). If fact I still couldn't believe that it's plastic. It's sill gorgeous. How could aluminum be better for dents, ignorant? All naked iphones 5, that I see look like 20 years old.
Only ignorant can think , that real leather is better. LOL.
Apple propaganda , knowing that have nothing to offer you, brainwashed you with pathetic "design" BS.
(and lately , useless fingerprint scanners on huge bezels, and comical 64-bit NONSENSE on iphone 5S.

I hope that samsung will release this black galaxy next time on the next version. It is more elegant than the one thay i have now which is blue. Dammit

Although this faux leather looks better than previous versions... They could just have gone for rubberized black plastic. They could do that to the front as well, make all buttons hardware and only leave the screen glossy.
Ant those fake aluminium frames, I dont get why they keep them. Either go for aluminium, or do a cool semi transparent frame with built in notification leds. Or keep it the same material as the back. Or just add accent color.
Those painted plastic imitations wears badly. And the feel reveals that it's not a "premium" material, and then a good choice of plastic could feel more premium than plastic that is trying to imitate something that its not.
Had it been real leather and aluminium even if they pumped out devices with that look, it would still work.
Now I just feel that it was ok for the Note series, as it had kind of a businesslook, but with so many other devices with that style, it gets booring quik.
