Anonymous, 08 Feb 20094 to 5 times larger? you are a schpincter muncher!!!! optus... moretelstra has 98% of the population covered, optus has about 95% currently and are in a major network expansion phase at the moment.
by the end of 2009 optus will have 98.2% population coverage of australia. then they will hold the largest mobile network in australia.
at that point will telstra drop their prices? no...cause telstra is telstra.

BUT...why the hell are people arguing over networks anyway? this is a review of a phone not a network.

personally i dont mind the look of the phone, i just wouldnt trust 2 things: first release software (android) and the trackball.
most people in know (myself included) work in telecomunications, and we have discussed it.
        trackballs fail way too often.

Anonymous, 08 Feb 20094 to 5 times larger? you are a schpincter muncher!!!! optus... morealmost matched telstras coverage??? in their wildest dreams maybe.. they are nowhere NEAR the same coverage.. real intelligent comeback btw.. sphincter muncher.. how long did it take you to look that up in a dictionary, no, don't tell me, it'll take you too long to think of an answer anyway.

"Telstra is so expensive because you have to pay Sol"

and how much does the CEO of the commonwealth bank take home, or ford, or any other large corporation, get a clue would you, at least he actually did something useful, as far as making australia better goes anyway. let's be honest, our internet and mobile call rates suck. on every service provider.

little bit of information for all of you..

"Epitiro ranked Singtel Optus – the largest remaining NBN bidder - dead last out of the nation's eight main broadband providers, damning it for its poor email delivery times. It also slumped in areas such as response times in finding host addresses and network computers."

so yeah, optus, real good.. not, oh, and guess who was rated first.
          /endthread

anyway take your lame comments and comebacks to the whirlpool forums, where you'll get shot down in a barrage of flames for being such simple-minded, cheap, ignorant fools.

I guess this is the original packaging of the first Android phone as first imagined by HTC, the Dream. The G1 is T-Mobile's own branding...this is all HTC.
