Looks crap with outdated specs and a look that is similar to the first StarTac phones of the 90s.
I'm waiting for the next Touch HD.

need i say.. hiptop/sidekick (for all you northern hemisphere ppl)

          $30/mth unlimited sms/mms/ems/im/email/web browsing

sure you pay for the handset, either outright or 12/24mth interest free, but at $19.55/mth with ya $30, that's $49 for unlimited data, so how is the $79 better? again i say, do your research please.

NextG is over rated, and overkill at best, its only use would be mobile broadband which is still over priced and not worth the trouble

"black" is actually the new "black" in Asia.

Many new hotels recently opened here have all their frontline staffs wearing black, which is very strange in the hospitality industry as in Asian culture, black is synominous with mourning.

We are living in a strange time these days, like the stupid ugly curve non one end of G1.

i wouldnt be so sure of that.. optus load their own crap onto their phones down here, and you can't remove it either.. epic fail.. that and optus are going down faster than a $5 hooker, now if it was to be launched with telstra, who has the largest network, then maybe it would do ok, but i don't see a future for this device on optus' network.

dont know why you say its a Tmobile G1 "clone", if anything the G1 is a clone of the dream, HTC made the Dream then branded it as a Tmobile device. It should not even be called a clone, just re-branded like the HTC Touch Pro vs HTC Fuze (though those have differences on the keyboard layout) they are the same device with diff branding.

then again, the image of those Asian and Ausie devices must be nice without all the Tmo stuff loaded into it... adp like perhaps??

Specswise the G1/Dream is a bit disappointing... HTC should come up with an android-based device with specs like the Touch HD... Now that would kick tails!!!
