i have Lumia 822 its already updated 8.1 but the prblim after i getting reset this phone my account microsolf is out why , and WHEN i go to store its not respond and i can't to open my store and i can't install any apps its beacause need microsolf acc need but its not connected Because the time we need set to the time to open my link to log in microsolf acc but how many time i try to set and any place any time tha't all i did but cannot???

lumia 810 owners weren't so lucky. No black update and no 8.1 either. Avoid carrier controlled phones, if possible

Still no update for t-mobile 810. I am really PO'd. Had my phone for 6 months and T-mobile is blocking this manufacturer update that's ready to go... WHY???

This is not true for the Lumia 822. Just got the update today, February 18, 2014. Check WindowsPhone Central app for more details! Download takes one hour over WiFi.

Some ideas of action from the Verizon 928 forum...
1.Verizon does not make policies with their customers "feelings" in mind. VZW will never disclose the release date of a phone. VZW will never disclose the release date of a software update.
2.If you are a Verizon customer who paid for a phone, you have full rights to the latest version of software that supports that phone. Check out the FCC rules and regulations for telecommunication companies like Verizon.
3.As a Verizon customer, you are entitled to your software update the day Microsoft or Nokia releases it. As it was explained to me by Microsoft with the GDR2 release: if you don't have an update notification on your Nokia device, contact the FCC at www.fcc.gov/complaints.
4.In 2013, I filed my GDR2 complaint with the FCC against Verizon. While I lend it more to ironic timing, GDR2 was ready for my phone within 7 days. 10 days later, Verizon called to confirm that I got my update based on my complaint.
5.If Verizon is going to sell a device, it is their responsibility to support the device on a timely basis. The issues of "testing on our network" is not our problem. It is up to Verizon to seek earlier beta or release copies of software updates to test within a reasonable timeframe. Failure to do so will result in Verizon receiving fines from the FCC based on complaints that are filed.
6.The FCC Complaint Website is also a handy tool for addressing Verizon billing problems, failure to reimburse, poor connectivity issues, and the data plan game that they are all so famous for (sell you a new phone with a short data plan - then when you go over your data, you end up with a data bill the same size as your phone bill).
7.There is no reason to feel like Verizon has any kind of stranglehold on you. You are the customer. You have rights. You have choices. You have the responsibility of educating yourself on what your options are with each carrier. While US carriers have more control over phone hardware than you see overseas, you still have a number of rights - and the FCC is there to back you up to make sure you get what you paid for.
So if you think GDR3 and Black are late due to Verizon (which it is), take the time to file your complaint. Sitting on a Verizon Forum arguing about Verizon is just what they want you to do. Negative or positive press is still press. Let the FCC hit them in the pocketbook if they are not going to make support of their line of Windows Phones a priority

you can create a free app studio account and get the developers preview by installing the preview for developers app and following the procedure as the app directs. you may not get all the lumia black features, but you will most certainly get the features listed in the microsoft gdr 3 preview for developers. primarily, 1. ability to lock screen auto rotation, 2. Close apps by tapping on the X on top right in multitasking view, 3. Better storage management.
Your extras+info will still read amber though.

Ok..these updates are great, but did they bother to fix the biggest issue with the "no response" on lock up screen? This is what I am waiting for. I two of these phones and this is the biggest I have with them and no response from Verizon or Nokia about this. The one phone was so bad that I had to sent it back locked up. The replacement did the same a couple weeks later. Both of these have no response to lock up screen and you either have to try and shut down or wait till battery completely dies to restart. What about this problem????? When is this going to be addressed?

I'm dumping my 810 and going back to Android. Order for Nexus 5 is already placed.
F*k you Nokia, f*k you WP. No more carrier-controlled software for me. I'm also looking for an options to skip away from tmobile.

As soon MS or Nokia makes updates your will be able to install with no issues.
There is tutorials in many webs like WPC to flashing Lumias. My phone is a L920 AT&T unbranded and now with the country variant from France and with Black update before than AT&T's update.
