Lenovo CEO confident he can turn Motorola around

Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing predicts it will only take a few quarters to make Motorola profitable again.

I think the reason they bought Motorola is to get access in the mobile share here in the US (and Europe?) just like what they did with IBM. No one knew who Lenovo was until they bought IBM and their Thinkpad products, same as Lenovo smartphone where the only presence is in Asia. Now here they are doing it again with Motorola! I'll buy some Lenovo stocks now!

    Google was not that enthusiastic in making motorola profitable from the get go. It was mostly about the patents.

        Lenovo is masters of business, Moto certainly has better future with them than they had with Google.

          I don't know why Google wasn't able to revive Motorola. I thought nexus line will be brought to motorola but it was still other company producing them.

            They need to bring back the original sexy design of the Razr.
