You guys, I don't see anything that says it's smaller than z1 compact. The previous post says it's a z1 not compact.
I don't get all this manufacturer's bigger is better philosophy. Newer phones just keep growing in size.
Come on Sony, you start the trend with ray and then z1 compact. I want a good spec phone with 4 to 4.3 inch size and a decent price. I don't have the palm of giants!

        pretty good-looking for a midrange device, but can the names be anymore creative? i mean that's another G, Xperia G, clearly a competitor to Moto G. this marketing strategy will fail if they did not price it similarly to Moto G, as people will ALWAYS compare it to the other G.

            Coming to beat Moto G and I hope it will...
            I put back step from Moto G as its frequency response is not quite good for low frequencies (required for solid bass), as I spent most of my free times (of course when my sweety is busy) listening music...
            Non removable battery is not a issue but expandable memory is really required...
            In other aspects like display, connectivity, build quality, performance the both manufacturers are quite good.
            Moto G 8GB - Rs. 12499
            Moto G 16GB - Rs. 13999
            Rs. 1500 for 8GB, that's not right.
            This has become a policy for the manufacturers & Apple is the main culprit...
            I love HTC because most of HTC phones includes most of all needs but it asks for lots of money...
            I put Samsung out of the discussion because it is a manufacturer which makes well designed buildings without strong base, hardware & build quality the most important thing. This is why peoples still using Nokia phones, tolerating the WP shit.
            I'm waiting for Sony Xperia G...
