This approach is actually used in macro photography, called focus stacking, where quite a few pictures are taked at different focus points and then stacked in software to create 1 image, where everything is in focus.
Since with HTC M7 you have to focus to about 9ft, for everything beyond to be in focus (Hyperfocal distance).
It would make sense in M8 for one camera to be tuned for close focus, while the other for the entire focus range. This way you have more capability to get everything in-focus than you would with any other camera.

The first picture is very realistic which I believe to be an official leak, however the second is very badly drawn ,the thing can be seen in the dual camera setup , where the upper camera is an exact copy of the bottom one (see the light slash) , and taking chrome as the default browser is a step up to help the user being connected to other Google services !

HTC One with Android 4.3.x Jellybean has a nice user interface but the new sense UI is a bit ugly, especially the icons. The previous icons were cool and soft buttons are a disappointment, at least for me. Also, it looks a bit awkward with two cameras. Overall, looks good.

all three are computer made, for all those reasons:
1.Silver and gold version have power buttons, grey one doesn't.
2. Silver and gold versions have 2 strange markings around main back camera, grey version doesn't.
3. Grill speakers are all different: grey version upper speaker has a different shape than the other two. The bottom speaker of grey version is not aligned in the middle like the other two. Also silver version has not symmetrical and unaligned holes in lower speaker.
4. In silver and gold version the screen of the side phone is obviously photoshoped as the line isn't straight as in grey version. Also at the same side phone, only the grey version has a normal upper side of the screen, the other two are obviously computer made.
Don't even speak about other's observations: "Why HTC made soft keys when there is enough place just below the screen like it was in M7?" or "The UI is most likely a fake, no point to have shortcut icons so far up, overlapping with other content and not being in a black frame as it is now. Also the positioning of on-screen buttons has no logic whatsoever, given the huge space below it with the HTC logo"
So, beyond any doubt, all three are computer generated, photoshoped pictures.
Are those pictures of M8? It's a slim chance, of course, but most likely they are just a redesigned M7 or Desire 700.
Of course, it's very possible that the phone WILL look this way..

It's a fake.look difference in the position of speaker grill in black and white version of the picture.in black version, the speaker grill is near to the bottom edge .But in white version it is properly placed in middle.

a bit dissapointing specs... they should boost it with snapd 805 and 3gb of ram, also bigger battery cca3000mah would be nice, also i hope they will stick with 1080p display 2k is overkill in my opinion.

People, all leaks from @evleaks are fake. They have been borrowed from a different person who did the same render on February 10th. It is all explained here: http://www.qiibo.com/2014/02/20/htc-m8-fotos-filtradas-falsas/ It's in Spanish u can translate it. I think we will be surprised on March 25th, better save the date.

Its fake..look at the gray pic..and then at the silver.
The gray one has no power button whereas the silver one has one..so the creator forgot to photoshop the first pic.
