gz, 23 Feb 2014i dont see how that is a better way or faster way to type..... moreI know a guy who types like that on a Galaxy Note, so what's your point? Different needs for different people, different eyes and different finger sizes. Personally I use a Qwerty keyboard but in some situations it's simply easier to hit bigger keys, what's so hard to understand about that? And for people who switch from hardware keys, this is a good way to adjust gradually to touch screen.

Me with Android? I've never been so insulted on this page before, except by Android trolls. Wow. +5 internets for you.

MdN8, 23 Feb 2014He wants an alphanumerical virtual keyboard on a touch scre... morei dont see how that is a better way or faster way to type... on hardware keyboards yes but not on touch screens....

i prefer a hardware qwerty 4 or 5 row keyboard but 12 key 2abc etc for a touchscreen is ridiculous

honestly i dont see the need... especially not with a swipe-like keyboard coming in wp8.1....

stay with android if that is a deal breaker for you

we are in 2014 not 2012

all wp7 reached their eol with wp7.8

            get up to the times...

only ip4 and up can get new ios updates and many flagship phones dont even have the latest android...

its called planned obsolescence... every company does it to ensure that you always buy the newer product to enjoy the new features

gz, 23 Feb 2014what are you talking about.... wp has a qwerty keyboard ... moreHe wants an alphanumerical virtual keyboard on a touch screen as an option, you know, like those on non-QWERTY feature phones. With 12 keys and on each of them 1 number and 3 letters. It makes typing texts with one hand easier. Symbian and Android have it. iOS and WP don't.

Keypad, 23 Feb 2014Windows does not have an option for an alpha numerical key ... morewhat are you talking about....

wp has a qwerty keyboard and i you press the &123 the numbers and symbols will come up. if you press abcd it will go back to letters. hold down the shift button to toggle caps lock. hold down a letter to get more options. predictive text is enabled by default.

what do you want hardware keyboards? well neither apple nor android has those either. you want a feature phone

Windows does not have an option for an alpha numerical key pad for text messages. Some of us find this easier to use than individual letters especially for bigger hands. Could you please install that option on your keyboards.
