Hahahaha, heart rate monitor.. Comon samsung, youve really got notging to make a top notch phone but this retarded stuff. Whats next, urine sensor, built in pregnancy test?? :P

the phone realy sucks if its true ...they already know for 2-3 years people want a galaxy s made of metal , not a very big improvement over S4 in terms of design or hardware

Sad man..This is really sad.. I expected atleast some major changes in design.. Not necessarily a metal body(it would have been great) but a bit sophisticated design like Sony phones.. Specs and all are fine though..

I think Samsung has done a wise thing , not upgrading the screen resolution . It just puts more strain on the GPU without any tangible benefits to the user as the PPI is already excellently high.
Fingerprint scanner is a welcome addition. Hope it works as well as Apple's offering.
4K video recording is a welcome addition. Even though not many people have 4K display , we can zoom without no loss upto 1920*1080 resolution (approx 2x lossless Zoom).
Heart rate sensor is a welcome addition seeing how many people around the world suffer with heart diseases.
Design is boring and old, but it is Sammy , we would be fools to expect something else !! I do hope there is a metallic version though.

What's the difference? If something happens (scratches etc) then plastic body you can normally change. Do you know how much costs iPhone body to change? And 90% of iPhone users (and not only iPhone) keep their phones in cases... plastic cases.....

Samsung/ LG bezel whores who rip Z1's "Dat Big Bezel", what do you have to say to SONY now? hahaha. Now S5 is also waterproof, but with an even bigger bezel than the Z1.

Only LG fans can talk about thin bezel but lg can't make a decent ipxx certified phone. Lg fail. Lg fans, keep your phone offshore while Sony and Samsung can take it anywhere. Cheers

As an owner of a Note 2 (and GS3,2,1 before) - if this truly is the design (it does look plausible..) then it's a HUGE ball-drop on Sammy's part..
This could be the turning point of them losing market share... it's just simply not innovative enough (and actually is rather ugly)
I'm glad I've decided this year to (finally) jump to Windows Phone... the 1020 / 1520 successor towards the end of the year should (quite rightly) stomp all over this...
Hell, the underperforming Z2 is a better bet than this...

Its got the same size screen as the S4 and yet is significantly bigger. This doesnt make any sense.
Maybe the pictures are real, but the specs cant be.
I am hoping this is the cheaper/lower end variant.
If this is the flagship device .... then massive fail!

Looks the same as ever other galaxy, its getting annoying now. Change it up samsung, why would a s4 user wanna buy the s5? include some aluminum, some metal...something different, not a back with a pattern. Your starting to become like apple now.

One more ugly design by samsung..it would have been better if they opted for a faux leather like galaxy note 3..this time they are going to have a tough competition from htc one(2014) provided htc does their basics right.
Come on Samsung..Show us some great design..

Why is the S5 bigger than the S4 if it has the same screen size? This phone will be a major FLOP!! :S
I'll guess this means SONY and LG will take their chances and run over samsung's foot.
My guess is that this is not the S5 but instead a galaxy S5 little brother.
