If samsung doesn't also introduse a premium version of the s5 then very soon they will lose there flagship market share and after that all other categories will follow.
I got the z1 after i had all s1, s2, s3 because it was better than s4. But for me it was justified because z1 had the advantage of being out 5 months after s4.
But now seeing z2 and s5.. Z2 has the upper hand and I believe so will the new HTC one!

Had 3 Galaxy Phones (Note 1, Note 2, and S4), plus the GNote 10.1 Tablet. I was a fan until... well, THIS. Will hold any purchases until Samsung will have a creative and minimalist industrial design, with products that are not UNAPOLOGETICALLY plastic.

If this news is accurate then it's a fail...
Can't imagine that they haven't changed the design despite many people complaining about it...
If HTC releases new one with user replaceable battery then s5 is history

to be honest this could be any phone, i mean lets look at the facts, there is several pictures posted, and almost ALL the photos look identical to the s4, the sensors are in same place, the home button looks identical to the home button on the s4, even though there is supposed to be a fingerprint reader built in, i cant see it, so it must be really well designed at least, the only pictures which suggest a change are the 2 pictures with the back panel showing larger camera and sensors along with new dual LED flash, i hope this is not the new flagship, and hopefully is only the cheaper version of the S5, otherwise design wise its a very big disappointment to the supposed new design ideas....few more hours till the truth is revealed either way.

The announcement is today? What time is it and which time zone, if anyone knows? I'd rather view the official announcement, rather than photos which maybe fake.

Although not a fan of ANY make of phone all this talk about bezel is silly, those of us with manly hands need a bezel to stop the fleshy parts of our hands activating areas on a screen when we hold it.

It's aweful but still it will sale good enough to make profit. In fact since S3 there is no significant improvement in S series. Guess I gotta stay with HTC.
