iam just confused of nokia fan and guys who hate SE...
if SE doesnt make this 12MP camera but 5MP or 8MP, they will complain with bad comments to SE and if their phone company makes 12 MP, they will be happy and push other company like SE down then they show up their 12MP but if SE makes 12MP they say"12MP is useless bla...bla.."
why did they do that or say that? because they are looser

12.1mp with tiny camera phone optics? No thanks. Pictures would look worse than the C905 which were bad enough. Why not just have 5mp and introduce better optics?
LOL I bet it still records at QVGA as well :D

Actually as you said, how many people printing the snapped pictures from their mobile phones? How many people have access to computers let alone to print pictures? These are phones when not handle with cares can got spoiled, stolen, etc. All the mobile phone manufacturers should concentrate on the battery life because of the functions.

just marketing. lets face it for a mobilephone its more than ok an 5mp camera, but nokia being the first to have a 5mp cam now other like SE want to say I am the first who put 12mp cam, anywhay the phones sales from 2008 makes nokia=(sam+lg+se)+70ml

you could always just bring the mp down in size, therefore the size of the file wont be so big, problem solved. i do it with my 8mp digital camera now. and wen i own this ill probly knock it back to about 8mp or less, only coz i know fones dont handle speed scrolling like actual cameras do

hey demanding-higher-MP-on-a-mobile-phone people!
you know the saying "bigger is not always better?"
the higher the MP count the more pixels in a photo so it takes up so much space! and it's all for nothing if you only have a 5.9 sensor.
what a stupid move.. SE is already desperate to announce their 12 MP phone.. now other brands are already planning to overthrow it again like they did to their rival phones. say hello and goodbye to Idou..
if ur thinking i'm a nokia fan, i'm not. i used a lot of phones for the past 10 years and not all of them are nokia. i currently use an SE k850 and i'm still enjoying with this baby..

i never understood all the hype about Hikaru? alrite its 8mp an all but other than a VGA screen (which yea its huge for SE) its pretty much slightly higher then C905..?
I though it was gonna be like huge touch screen, Android, insane design... its just a Walkman with highlights of VGA screen Wifi, GPS and 8mp like i said just an upgraded c905
