Whoa.... I didnt expect that so much critism with this gorgeous SE IDOU, you.. dont you want have it all??! Oh c'mon.. GSMArena pointed that Idou has the most fluid user interface(i think 4x better than 5800) and you can see on the Video! How gorgeous and awesome the interface, 2nd: 12mpix is so much? Dont you want have it all? If you want 3mpix size of picture, you can easily change the setting then choose 3mpix, want some more? Pick the 5mpix size or even 8mpix size will do!! You are so st_pid for that thing!! Theres no urge to talk bout it.. You just jellous! Coz SE have done a Great Great job!

And I'm really happy that SE were back to symbian.
I'm more glad because SE were also choose to drop their non-standard memory stick also.
Now, I have a choice between Nokia and SE phone.
It's great to have a beautifully SE phone with a GREAT symbian OS.

their only chance is the N97 which is made for old people...
unlike SE which release two cool phone....

i am curious why gsm arena said the idou is not made by se them self ?
just because they have micro sd card slot?? w995 have 3.5mm audio jack ,and this is not se style but can i said this phone is not made by se ??? how could you said like that ???

Very doubtful. I'd take 3.2MP camera on a phone that takes pictures on par with a real camera than a fancy-Dan 12MP phone.
Plus people forget about the file sizes....how long will it take the phone to process these files? Phones are notoriously slower than cameras!

Firs of all I would like to say that this is BIG form SE!! I am really impressed and this is the first device from SE that I really like lately.
I just have one question for somebody expert enough to answer: I have a 3MP Kodak digital camera. It takes fantastic pictures, way better ones than most other 4-5MP ones.
Now my question is this, will this 12MP camera phone be better on the quality than my 3MP digital camera? Remember the MP as far as I know only boosts up the resolution which is after a while pointless. You can print of a picture taken with 4MP camera in poster size easily. You could probably print out the picture taken with the 12MP camera to some huge sizes. But what the point in that? You will most probably use regular 6*4 size for your printed photos.
So what is all about this MP race? Is it going to improve quality? Is their point making 15, 20 50 MP cameras?
I am waiting for a meaningful explanation. Thanks!

Finally se is on its knees and begging for mercy(from symbian).
Because with windows it hasnt achived success it were hoping for..............
And to all se fans i agree with u that nokia doesnt have 12mp camera(not even 8mp)and that on an average se cams are BETTER than nokia cams.
But this isnt digicam market we r in cell phone market and here NOKIA is really far ahead of se.
So se loses

The Idou earphones look wireless, so small it's so cool.
Finally the brilliant media control of Sony Ericsson to be used with a sweep of the finger!!!
12 megapixels is so awesome every picture will look like it's a masterpiece (after resized to normal window size of course).
I the video filming is better than the QVGA 30fps.
I hope they build it sturdy enough or else I'll just wait for the skinny version.

s.e. lover, 16 Feb 2009now here is the ultimate phone that can beat LG and SAMSUNG... moreI think u can't say idou beats acme or km900 coz there's no review..
I underlined the main pros of idou is camera which has biggest 12mp cam modul with xenon flash
While acme main pros is hd vid rec 720p (better than wvga of idou) with hdmi + bigger screen size with same res. But 8mp cam (no xenon) of acme can't fight 12mp xenon of idou
It isn't secret that sammy battery is suck and se has better battery but acme also has 3.5mm jack while idou doesn't have
LG KM900 has better screen with superb res even has 3d acclerator but it's not smartfone
Last..congrats to se,now se at the same level with samsung n lg..leave nokia n moto at bottomed tech..nokia failed to improve their s60..n97 just like n96..

Man please correct ur info...its not a S60 symbian or a Symbian series 5 OS...its a latest OS produced by Symbian foundation made up of Nokia,SE,Samsung,Siemens and many manufacturers...Its untested yet..but video shows the innovative and sweet graphical interface
