For those who say this is just an N85 with 8mp, let me remind you, when the N85 came out, it retailed for 400 Euro..this is only 375Euro..and judging by its construction, that is , using less "slabs" and more conventional buttons in its assembly, it'll be free of all N85's bult quality problems..

What make u think that nokia is fool and they r gonna loose market share in 2009. Let me tell u one thing technology is different from consumer satisfaction. Satisfaction comes by considering different parameter and one most important parameter is price. What is the point of releasing 12MP phone which nobody can afford. Nokia is moving one step further in their aim to conquer world. All other manufacturers are focusing on MP, Symbian, Screen race but nokia are focusing on services and competitive price. If u compare any nokia phone with other manufacturers phone then u notice that others price are about 20-50% higher than nokia phone for same features. So in the end consumer only focus on price they can compromise some features for better price. So i m forecasting that this dammn phone will be a hit. Keep thinking about bringing nokia down but u never know their strategy.
Only a fool can think that world's largest mobile vendor is out of mind

i love how pple start talkin about a phone and saying bad things...
read well before commenting anything... if you understand in technology that is...
tha phone is awsome and the Its 8MP cam is the best in all in section. better than SE/Samsung/LG ect...

This feels like Nokia just rushed it to market, in order to keep up with Samsung, and not lose market share to them.
I'm not impressed, at this point anyway.

Hopefullt the build quality is better then everything else in the N series, wich is complete crap. Had the N82, worst ever, have the N85, total crap quality, both software and build.. and had the E66 wich was flawed in speakers.
To bad because I like Nokia and have given them many chances.. but no. HTC or Samsung from now on.

Considering the price, this is a great phone. There's no reason to compare this to Samsungs or Sony Ericssons who will be more than 500 euro. 8MP is already too much for a phone (my photo camera, which is a very good one by the way, has 6 MP and I dont need an upgrade regarding megapixels). The camera specs seem great (not sure about the LEDs), OLED screen big enough for 320x240 ... I dont especially like the design either, but that is not very important for me. I just wish for a bigger resolution screen, so maybe I'll go for Nokia 5800 (after they will remove most of the bugs/problems) which is even cheaper (but it has a poor camera compared to this). I understand that compared to OmniaHD this one seems ugly and not interesting, but hey, OmniaHD is for the very few ones who will afford it.
