Apple to launch 8GB iPhone 5c tomorrow

Various reports and leaks suggest Apple will be releasing a cheaper 8GB iPhone 5c tomorrow.

Apple can sell a stone, by just putting an apple logo in it, and everyone in the media and the sheeps will ohh, revolutionary lol. the best stone yet , 25% lighter, 30% faster. its the best stone for you haha

          YAPPLE, 18 Mar 2014Those who purchase apple phone is the dumbbest person in th... moreReally, since "all" iPhones are sold on contract i would say it is among the cheapest phones there is, for an iPhone 5s on contract you will usually pay less than a Galaxy Y cost in the store.

          Not that i deal in sim locked phones, but most people, and especially iPhone people will say "but i need a subscription anyway". So, average cash down price for iPhones are lower than for android phones.

          People love to buy on credit, they see iPhones as free or almost free since its sold almost only through carriers.

All the rumors really had to go on was that Apple had reduced orders of parts for 5c, but its still one of the worlds best selling smartphones.

Its only in the dreams of the haters that Apple is stuck with lots of unsold 5c phones, in reality it is selling quite well but naturally far the most buyers choose 5s instead.

                        The 5c is a budget to midrange phone..Yes it runs smooth but its still using early 2011 chips in fact what is expensive in an iphone because aluminium is cheap ,battery plus charger don't cost that much..There is probably 50GBP worth of stuff in a 5s model yet Apple charge 709GBP for a budget model phone with a 38GBP 64 gb memory chip and that's why Apple have billions in bank..

                              Just thinking outloud here. Why going through extra trouble and further expense to disable the existing memory. Why not put the stockpile on sale and reduce the price by 50€ for a limited time? The initial production cost will not change but the sale will most likely move some of the units.

                                  Apple just want to clear the inventory of the 5C components by reducing the device's price.
                                  They have very huge inventory for 5C, probably in billion dollars!

                                  One way is to reduce the internal memory from 16G to 8G.

                                  Because Apple can use the 16G memory for current iPad, iPod, iPhone 5S and future iPhone.
