I have had one of these INQ1 phones from Three in the UK now for over three months and I definately can recommend it.

It offers a good array of apps including Skype, Facebook, MSN Messenger and more. It downloads and informs me of new emails and messages from all those services I mentioned. I has lots of useful features that you would expect, notebooks, contacts, calendars, calculators, etc.

It is amazing how much it does, so well and so reliably in such a small light package compared to other smart phones.

It looks and feels in your pocket like a normal phone but has the power of a smartphone, which is just excellent. I use skype all the time as well as making normal calls and it is just excellent.

It also crashes a lot less than Windows Mobile based phones, that is also from experience.

    To the uninformed;
    there is not an 'INQ' brand. I sell these phones from 3 in Australia and they're manufactured by 'AMOI' and commissioned by 3, just like the woeful '3 Skypephone'. This phone isn't that bad but i certainly dont recommend it, it s buggy as hell and its only grace is its facebook/msn/myspace integration and constant connection to said applications. much better and more seamless union with phones contacts etc than simply downloading a facebook app. but still, no cake-taker here... not a worthy phone of first prize. shove its guts into a good phone then we're talking.

      There is always reasons people vote the phone to be the best phone.

      That's why only certain people are chosen to be the juries but not YOU.

      Just got the phone from 3 on free upgrade. Don't care whether is good or no good (free on the lowest $29 cap and loyalty credit $22 every mth that means I only pay 7 bucks), who cares .

      Will test drive and let you know how good it is.

                First of all what in the hell do you know about our customer base.
                All over the world Nokia is a much respected brand not like your unknown "inq".
                And simply because our phones are affordable and robustly build thats why they are loved by all(not only by peasents as claimed by you).
                As far as n97 is concerned it is an advanced new generation multimedia device and not an outdated crap as claimed by you.
                In fact if nokia amg would have wished it could have purchased your entire business but we wont because we dont invest in"CRAP" LIKE YOURS.
                LOL.

                  But...do you really work for Hutchison 3g? ._.;
                  I work in a small phone store...and was given away the skype S2 also made by amoi, and even tho some of your points are valid...the phone is stable most of the time and really easy to use ._.;

                  However, and no offence, you seem like the type of employee instore who tries to talk me into buying an lg renoir/viewty when i go in =/ or a call centre worker who asks me about insurance....

                  Bottom line...Amoi phones are simple, cheap, usable devices ! Rock solid, bit of a poor battery life...and a little buggy ! but still darn good =D (also, before i hear cries of " you know nothing about phones if you call this great" i usually love Nokia and HTC winmo devices =/ so even i am still surprised that i liked a phone so simple :3)

                        How about waiting until there is more information on the phone. As for the "supposed" post by employee's.... (not even going to waste my time typing)

                        Personally I don't agree with the award but I'm not going to speculate as to which model should have received it either. I don't know what criteria the judges were going by. It changes every year.
                        The real question is: What's the next BIG breakthrough. Years ago it was the Camera Phone. What will be next? Facebook implementation is all well and good but not breakthrough. It's software writing. What about hardware and MAJOR software news.

In which case you're not doing a great job representing them, least of all because they're called '3' or '3 Mobile' and not '3G', which is a common misunderstanding. Surely anyone who actually works for them and isn't just pretending to so as to discredit their phone would know that.

                              [deleted post]- We do not use N97 phones. The N97 is not available for use yet and it wont be for another two years either. Even then we will not use t because it is a low quality outdated piece of rubbish.

                              - Although the E71 is not a bad phone, it is not so special either. Just a regular E series phone.

                              - The only reason why Nokia is selling the largest amount of mobile phones because they are the manufacturers of low and cheap 1000 series phones which all the poor peasants buy in Asia in Africa. If you look at the high quality market Nokia is nowhere near to be the first.

                                      INQ is also one of the first mobile companies to create a ‘living address book’ which merges and automatically updates phone numbers, emails and Facebook status and photos of all your contacts. The result is a device featuring Internet-driven applications that are so intuitive and seamless it’s actually incredibly easy for mass market consumers to enjoy fully portable social networking at a
