u want to know his was a test unit.. not a finalised one.. i know cause i have one.. why i kept supporting it? cause i'm one of the painstaking developers of this project.. see it's finally got attention and won the best mobile award
yeah.. poor marketing will make a phone feature go bad.. where'd u get that?? Please.. if u haven't experience this phone, or atleast understand its features.. don't throw comments like "oh i can have facebook on my winmo, or se or watever.." browsing the internet is different than living with it.. TRY

Well, I think the award is for innovation. I believe that social network integration will be the next big thing. I would love to have Facebook, MSN, Yahoo, Skype all comes as default on my mobile phone. I have both the E71 and the Xperia, and to be honest, both lack the support for all social networks like facebook and MSN. Xperia supports MSN messenger, but not Yahoo Messenger. E71 supports either unless you download a 3rd party software. It would be nice to see all of these instant messaging software come as default apps in the future. I love my E71 and my Xperia tho. They are amazing smartphones. I am looking forward to the N97 tho. Flagship touchscreen monster from Nokia this spring. It has to be amazing if it wants to cut into the iPhone & WinMo device market. HTC should get a nod for its insanely cool phones too. Touch HD is too good, yet too expensive at the same time.

Ignorance really is bliss - sometimes!!!
If you guys used this phone? you'll know how it beats the pants off all other phones in terms of staying connected.
it's only competition is the palm pre (and it's not even out).
The battery is crap (1 .5 days standby)
The camera is crappy to.
It has a usb headset jack.
The rest is excellent

and have you seen 3G employee post? he's one of the developer of this crapy unit. the question is..did he like it?
same with me, ill rather choose Nokia N97, or se idou, than this unit

These Awards don’t mean anything. It is the same that in the car industry. The car of the year is usually some crap Fiat. Everybody knows that German and Japanese cars are the best.
So we don’t need to get upset about this. This is simple buls**t. We must judge for ourselves.

yep. i second. finally someone make sense. we will see nokia se samsung n others to follow. integrated facebook is the next in thing. way to go INQ1!! being a pioneer and setting others to follow is an honor. as is the award. cool

Hey guys.. This award is absolutely.. The judges are very wise for their selection.. Omnia? Diamond? Xperia? N-series? Same old boring stuff.. This award shud go for something new, something breakthru.. In this case the complete integration of facebook on a phone.. INQ1 really deserve the award.. Quit whining and start thinking.. Hey, even iphone was best phone once ;p

Hi everyone. I work for 3G myself (INQ1 developers). I was quite surprised to hear tht a phone like this can win. The jidges shoudlve used it them selves to findout about it.
FACTS:
1.The integration of FACEBOOK makes the phone slower as hell.
2.The contact adds to the phone from the MSN messenger and facebook automatically if u select yes to synchronize it with facebook, Skype and MSN.
3. The phone is a good source of heat for the winters, as it get way to hot and keeps my pockets warm.
4. Battery last not more than one day.
5.No groups functionality option ( cannot send one message to a group of people).
6.No 3G video calling front cam ( thats a joke, 3G shouldve been more considerate enough to add video calling to its device as they are to be the best at it).
7. Bogus user interface which makes u feel like using an arcade game.
8. Push email which works fine to be honest, but keeps asking me for my password randomly even after saving it.
Ive got this phone for free, Ive been using it for 3 weeks now. I have goneback to my E71.
