AnonD-247751, 25 Mar 2014So one in 14 people worldwide have a iPhone. I call the BS ... moreYou do realise that this is a cumulative total over the life cycle of the iPhone product, right? So if someone started on the original, upgraded to the 3G, then the 4, then the 5 and has a 5S, that's four phones sold right there.

AnonD-5197, 25 Mar 2014That's because Samsung allows the service providers to have... moreYou're right about that. Samsung is the only carrier that makes a different variant for each service provider. So the consumer always has a lot more to choose from.

But it's something to think about when you buy a phone from them and few months later, they have another one out... usually a higher-end than the last in some shape or form. I agree with you that it's a good and bad thing... not necessarily always bad.

So one in 14 people worldwide have a iPhone. I call the BS card on that statistic. Apple are lying. Tim Crook should go into politics, plenty liars there.

AnonD-238804, 25 Mar 2014Really? Lol Tell me just why has samsung come out with coun... moreThat's because Samsung allows the service providers to have their own version. Also, each versions might be similar in price off-contract, but they are different on-contract which allows buyers to choose from wide range of products. This is not a bad thing.

Not to mention, technology changing so quickly Sony decided to adjust their flagship release cycle to 6 months.

If the iPhone is not from gold or hasn't got any non removable features than it's only a Niva- get's the job done, yet costs usually more than most todays vehicles.

AnonD-18905, 25 Mar 2014That is what justin bieber's fans say about him .I'd have to say that i think your comparison is really weak.
You're comparing someone who has an entirely artificial success against something truly deserving.
Now, i've used Maemo,Meego, Android, Sailfish, and then ,finally, iOs.
iOs is smooth, attractive, compact, user-friendly and versatile.
Sure, android is a bit open and allows the user almost complete control over the system, but that can really harm both the device and operating system.
I'm not gonna compare both OS and try to put one over the other, but i'm just saying that the iPhone is not an artificially successful device.
Performance, quality and service are great with Apple.

AnonD-77358, 25 Mar 2014Don't you tell me this when Apple has a 5s and a 5c version... moreMany other Manufacturers also have two variants at least of the same product (not necessarily named similarly, but spec-wise). Not 10 different versions of the same product. And it's clearly a marketing technique from Apple. They want people to buy iPhone 5S more than 5C.

Because when you buy a 5S, you get everything that the 5C has to offer and then more. With Samsung, it's not the same story unfortunately.
