About the speaker phone problem everyone is having... remove the front faceplate with the included triangle. Then, remove the squared microphone piece (it's black, like a chip). Behind it, you will find two golden pins alike connectors. Use a pen or a screwdriver, pull the pin facing toward yourself. The pin will like come out of it's hole. Do this for both pins. Now, both golden pins/connectors should be bent a bit on the outside. This increases the contact with the board. Now, replace everything. It should work perfectly. That's how i fixed my 5800 and also, nokia centre uses the same way =P

You'll be carrying one main SIM most of the time anyways.
If you have more than one, then your better off purchasing a dual-sim phone.

I'll just check what you said again:-

"Wow your kinda slow 5800 has the best SIM hotswap XD i really don't kow who is gonna carry a pin in there pocket all day XD just to take out a SIM card .... no not me i have better things to carry"

Obviously you will be carrying a stylus, I carry a paperclip, in my wallet with another SIM card, I can't be bother carrying my N82 when I can just swap SIM's.

Let's see what GSM Arena's review says about the 5800 SIM card.

"The lanyard eyelet is all the way down on the left side of Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. On the same side you'll find the microSD card slot and the SIM compartment - both covered protective plastic covers. Yep - you got that right - the SIM card gets in and out on the side of the handset.

But don't get this wrong - it's not hot-swappable or anything. You still need to remove your rear cover and battery. Then you put the stylus in a little hole to push the SIM card out. In fact it's so unusual that they drew a manual on the inside of the battery cover about it."

you don't even touch the battery when your taking out the SIM card the slot is on the side of the phone right beside the MicroSD slot All you have to do is open the MiroSD slot first so you can get the to SIM card slot like a 3 door car

So what sort of "cheap" plastic it seems pretty tough to me, just like every other plastic phone.

OK get a 5800, pull out the SIM then put in a different one and see what happens or can't you do it without taking the battery out?
