so is this phone faster than i900 omnia? only difference i see is the higher display resolution.

Im holding the latest Arena and it is full of surprises. Very intuitive but not an iPhone.. I mean still some of the UI feature is more "cute" but not as intuitive as the iphone (like accessing email).
The most amazing is the picture and sound quality in my folders. It really blows you away..
I think LG has done well this time..

Ok people,the iPhone seems to be the reason of many argues on the GSMArena forums.Personally i wouldn't want an iPhone(don't get me wrong,it is a very nice phone),it lacks the essencial stuff i need: a good camera,between 5-8 MP,touch feedback for touchscreen and some other small features.But everyone should admit it has one,ore maybe the best,touchscreen user interface on a touchscreen phone,very responcive and fluid,just as a touchscreen should be.But if u give me the choice between another touchscreen souch as the Samsung Tocco,I would deffenetly choose the latter,although the screen is a lot smaller.
The Arena by LG is a very nice approach for the company.It seemes from the videos I saw that the S-Class is closing in on the iPhone nice and colorful interface.And adds a lot more features that the little apple doesn't seem to bring. People that like the iPhone don't want a phone that has advanced features,like camera.They can settle for a poor camera(with no video!until the upgrade people might not see an iPhone with a video recorder) and for me 2 MP isn't enough.
The majority of people don't mind that the interface is a bit laggy on other touchscreen phones like pixon/renoir because every way u put it,it is fun to use any touchscreen phone.
Also comparisons with a touchscreen phone with the iPhone is often good; the arena-iPhone comparison is for me very good in the user interface and web browsing domain but the rest of the specs sheet seems to loose in front of the majority of touchscreen phones out there.
The iPhone is indeed a revolutionary phone,because it has started off with a marvelous OS at the time when the rest of the manufacturers didn't even had a touch phone so some owners have an extra argument in favour oh the apple gadget,but times have changed people!Technology evolves. I read some reviews where people state that LG copyes this,that Sammy copyes that but without these phones the market would be a bit empty. Do you think the guys over at nokia,SE,LG... release theyr models without thinking about the market first,how will the device be welcomed by the audience? People,these companies arent stupid,and they didn't became market leaders of the cell phone segment hiring amateur people. So people,think before u write comment about a certain device. Just because u favour 1 company doesn't mean u have to write bad posts about another.
That;s all i have to say.
Oh wait, P.S. Nice one LG,really improving on the phones here ;)

Personaly, I need a device,that can give me everything...navi,mp3,video...at least 5mp camera,and a good OS, that I can modifiy.
And that's WM and Symbian! Iphone is not a bad phone, the display is awsome...but the one I've tested, freezed down 3 times in 1 hour,and that's more then my Omnia does in 4 months!!
Maybe people should stop compare phones with Iphone, cause..it's not the same..like comparing a G-class Mercedes, to Audi Q7...the firs is a legend of it's own, the second is a High tech SUV...both are exspensive and good!
But you can't compare them!

If I did it to mine it would still be unlocked because the network I bought it from officially unlocked it for free.
For a phone that all you whiners say is out of date, useless features etc, the iPhone sure does dominate the conversation.
I call that world changing.

I see that we have come to agree that it is great even if it is hype it is what the dumb person wants and what the competion is trying to achieve and for the guy that posted the virus comment if it's so silent how would you know about it lol and I have had my iPhone for over a year with no bricks

Maybe your iphone can re... moreYour right that fact that maybe you have to an extra mile to do what it's suppose to do is true but for that fact that you can do that is what makes it's such a powerful device jailbreak does void warrenty but if you relock the phone it's covered again do to that I'm not opening my phone to make those changes and about the out the box fuctionality that also will soon be fixed when the update gets released that alsobanother point of when the device is powerful I'm a big fan of motorola nokia and Sony ericsson they make amazing simple devices I also used blackberrys I own a storm and a curve they are all great the thing is in the end when it comes down to a phone that you can have fun with it all comes in favor of the iPhone
