wow!!!! it amazes me how the iphone owners are going crazy over this 3.0 software update, like it's the greatest thing since Michael Jackson perform the moonwalk. Me being a iphone owner is quite disapointed, seening the fact I still have to pay money for things that comes with other phones in the same bracket for free! Typical Americans overeacting to stuff other countries already had for years, like a child whose excited cause he know has the same toy as his neighbor.Still being a fool not realising the phone lacks in comparison to the other major companies that sell a all in one device. Nokia, SE, Samsung ring a bell, iphoners?

That's all nice, but those 'new' features are so basic that introducing them in such a way is absurd.
This kind of money extraction shocks me. What's worse is that ignorant, mindless consumers still buy it! People are indeed sheep and a little marketing is all it takes to grab hold of their money.
I can already picture the next iPhone still lacking some industry standards which, I bet, will be implemented long after the technology has matured. And around we go...

Momo, 17 Mar 2009......HTC touch HD,Nokia 5800,Samsung Omnia those all beat... moreIphone outsold HTC HD, Omnia and Nokia 5800 combined, lol. The iphone still gives the best user experience and the smoothest UI. The iphone also has a scratchproof glass screen that always looks brand new. I can't say the same for the plastic touchscreen of the HD, Omnia and 5800, lol. Not to mention that all those devices that you mentioned suffers legibility under direct sunlight, lol (not the iphone). Is that what you call advanced? LOL.

Also, to the guy who said the the iphone is for people who do not love to take pictures, you are very wrong. I love taking pictures and videos, and that is why I would never use a camera phone to take pictures and videos. I use my Canon camera. It beats any camera phone, lol. I don't settle for camera phones my dear =)

Wow, this news just got posted and haters are already flooding in, lol. Haters seem to be more updated and are more excited to find out what's in the 3.0 OS than real iphone owners, lol. Sad. Guys, just let the iphone and iphone owners be. If you think that your device is the best and the iphone is the worst, then just go ahead and think that way =) No need for you to attack the iphone and its owners =) For those who say that these basic features that are new to the iphone are old, well the iphone has unique basic qualities and features as well that are not found in most phones out there (multi-touch, glass screen, app store, 3.5 display, sunlight legibility, proximity sensor, accelerometer, etc). So please just get over it.

to put it short.. for those of us that like a phone that is jack of all trades, the iphone does not meet our requirements. iphone is top of the list when it comes to user interface and software integration for the features apple makes available on the phone.
for the rest of us that like everything included in our phones, the omnia HD is the way to go

Ok, these new features are all fine and dandy but can it record video without jailbreaking it yet?

But...
Why until now?
Why that lack of the main features?
It doesn't convince me yet
Maybe in the future the Iphone will be an option, in the mean time, I enjoy my N82

lol you big babys xD...you all are right, apple iphone is good in 1 way and the worst mobile phone on the other (getting better ;)...touchscreen is the best on the market atm (we will see Idou soon and see)also video player and games on it, just awesome...but on the other hand, lame camera, and as the Ipod should have, not the very best music player...(check last generation of sony ericsson mobile phone player) i'm not saying the interface is better, no, iphone interface is 1 of the best interfaces atm...just the quality of the music palyed by itself..but dunno, u decide i have ipod touch first generation of ipod touch...
but overall, apple iphone is for people who dont give much on a camera, want to have fun, want great video player and a great web browser (forgot to mention that earlier;....if you want campera phone u will obviously not buy it...go for sony ericsson C905(great choice, i have it and im very very pleased)..As i said apple iphone is not for buisness use,nor for people who love to take pics,so judge it as a "fancy city" phone which offers great fun.

Cool down guys. I own the omnia and used the iphone, and it's true I care about it, I really love the phone, I've been waiting for A2DP support, and it seems they freed APIs of the GPS for other apps to use it, that's great. If they release a new iphone with a better camera I might switch, but for my usage, it's still no match for the samsung omnia.

Does this mean that you can now send and receive files via Bluetooth from other phones i.e pictures, music etc?
