AnonD-155636, 24 Apr 2014To be fair, 3.5 inches is pretty much the most comfortable ... moreYeah.... no. I have small hands due to an injury and yet I one-hand my Note 3 every day.

LOL. Why be surprised? Why all the negative comments about this new device? We already have 7" to 8"+ with ear speakers. I use a Note 8 with phone functions. More functions than iPads or some Android tablets.

This one has smaller bezels, better screen ratio to the bezel. Easier to handle with its screen category size. Just another choice.

MdN8, 24 Apr 2014Exactly. Maybe 4 inches if the design is right, like the 80... moreI've got a 4.3 inch RAZR I which is fine one handed and I've got small hands for a man, however, I've never understood the importance on one handed use. The only time I ever need to use it one handed is when I'm driving and I need to knock out a quick text.
I've got a nexus 7 which I can use one handed if need be and like I say, my hands are small.

AnonD-52738, 24 Apr 2014Why not a high end model? I will consider it if high end. Agree. The only thing that prevents me from considering it is its low specs.

I love large displays and I have no hesitation to buy any phablets regardless of their size. But I just wish Sammy would also focus on other more important (internal) stuff such as power, battery life, speed, and internal storage OR perhaps external stuff that Sammy is definitely lacking... a nicely-built premium-looking design that doesn't scream "cheap plastic", rather than just focusing on the display/size alone.

You should see it as a tablet that have phone call functionality, if you look at it that way, it's actually useful. But it have to have tablet pricing, if it's going to be like $600+, forget it.

I don't think this is the successor to the Galaxy Mega 5.8 though the specs matches the Grand 2 as how the Mega 5.8's specs was alnost identical to the original Grand. I wish they release a new Mega 5.8 and a new Mega 6.3 along with this one. This tablet-phone is for people who've been longing to use a tablet as a phone especially in the U.S. and Europe since they didn't recieve the phone features of the previous generations of Galaxy Tabs unlike in Asia. I suppose we're gonna see the refresh of the smaller Megas very soon.
