Neglefarot, 20 Mar 2009I "DONT" care about other people and their needs for pictur... morePeople like you are the reason why so many hate Apple. No one can deny Iphone's success on the sales department, but it only means there's so many who just want what's hot, but don't take the time to shop and compare. They're behave like brainless users, believing everything Apple says, and they don't care if there are better options, just because they're not made by Apple. Sometimes I really wonder if these are true opinions or fixed ones??? I refuse to believe people are this stupid!!!

Apple Iphone 3G - Twice the hype, half the novelty
Nokia E71 - Messenger of steel
        Nokia N96 - King's new clothes
Nokia 5800 Xpress Music - Young as you feel
Nokia 79 - Swiss Army knife
Nokia 8800 Arte - Art of seduction

I wonder what GSM Arena will name the N97 on their review? Maybe something like "The Emperor has arrived".

That about explains the N97 situation.

Apple developed WebKit powers the S60 browser of your precious non-series phone's, there's a little bit of Apple in your pocket now.

Hahaha... iMoroooon !! The audio processor and built in memory is made by Samsung. The screen, display, touchscreen and interface is developed and made by Toshiba. The phone parts are manufactured and assembled in China. The Iphone was designed by BenQ and then sold to Apple. Hahaha!! Eat that iMoroooon!!

People by cheap Nokia phones?? Everyone that i know that has Nokia has one from the Nseries. Nseries phones are not cheap and they sell loads of them in Europe, Asia, South America and the Middle East, but i don't have any idea about Africa though.

The reason Iphone sells so well in the US is because outside manufacturers can't get any decent subsided deals with the US networks companies.

I you look up on different mobile OS systems on the Internet it's a pretty well known fact that the Iphone OS is fast because Toshiba was told by Apple to skip multitasking. If u strip away multitsaking and background apps on the other manufacturer phones then their OS would be superfast.

Once again, i can't get over it "nokia don't have the minds that apple have in their labs" hahahaha... Apple is actually a Carrot.

Like it or not, Apple is the innovator of the computer and now mobile business.
They made a product that sent all manufacturers back to the drawing boards. And what did they cone up with? The 5800, a cheap plastic, resistive touchscreen, badly adapted symbian phone that's free on £15 a month tariffs. Knock off appstore ovi, which is a joke, and thy even tried copying iPhones main screen by making the background black and colorfull icons.
What did samsung make? Tocco, just another samsung but with a touch screen, a bad one at that. LG? Viewty, Renoir, again crap UI, crap touchscreen, crap LCD, crap design.
Well all be here in July when apple releases the next iPhone, the N97 will probably not be out by then, because nokia don't have the minds that apple have in their labs.

You are overdue on your medication. Where did Pantech and HTC come from by the way? Keep up with the iPhone?? Nokia sells more units "globaly" every month then Iphone has done since it's release. Iphone users are 90% based in the US. Most people in Europe and Asia use Nokia. Even the business people and polticians in US use one of the Nokia Business phones or the Blackberry. Nokia do like to give the customers new models and variation, but still have some heavy hard hitters and long running extremely popular models in their line. Have heard of the N95? N73? N82? etc. These are still hugely popular around the world even though they are old. Apple sat down for a year after their first iPhone and released a one, and all they came up with was a round of the back i little, make it thicker, made it in plastic and added 3G and u guys just fell for it big time. I can understand that u try out the iPhone 3G if u never hade the first one, cause my brother David got his first Iphone and returned it 3 days later because of the audio quality in music and said he will never use an iphone again, but what's the use of "upgrading (it beats me on how they even dare to call it an upgrade) it". The right word for upgraders is not iSheep, it's iHomer.

I sell iphones and they are plagued with issues. On top of that if you lose or break your phone and are tied to a contract, be prepared to buy a new one for $800 or start a new contract. You will also have to continue the previous contract for the lost or broken phone. If you are interested in an Iphone, I would wait at least 5 years for them to become a decent company. At the moment they are clearly new and of poor quality.

Apple came from nowhere and delivered the phone millions wanted whiletheother phone manufacturers were cramming big megapixels in their models..... Pointless. Now, all these companies are stressing and hasting trying to make something to compete but all they delivered so far are cheap immitations. 2 years on and iPhone has now squashed RIM and Microsoft in Market share, Nokia is down 16%, Sony Ericsson is down 50%. every phone maker is making their UI as fluid as possible and they still can't beat iPhone, now they're all making their own app stores! BB app centre, MS market, nokias Ovi, even samsung is developing one.
Those in the computer industry know. Apple innovates, everybody else copies (or tries to). And now that they're in the phone game, it's Deja'vu.

I think its really stupid for Apple for have their phone sold locked to a particular network in any country. I am from India, and if Apple thinks they can take people for a ride by pricing the iphone at almost three times the cost it is sold abroad for, they are making a big mistake. The number of iphones that are sold off the shelf in black and grey markets completely unlocked and ready to use, is not funny and Apple is loosing out on that segment of the market. Bring down your prices and make the iphone available ready for use with any network. It will do you a big favor and you chaps at Apple can make some more money during these times of recession !
