Design resembles LG, name stolen, features not there.
Iphone had no video recording, camera flash, could not MMS, no adobe flash, no file manager, no bluetooth transfer, no moving back grounds, could not set other songs as ringtones...so forth.
What's sad is flip phones prior to it could do almost all of that...a couple select ones even had the file manager.
And a lot it still does not have...
So I repeat. Origianl Iphone was shown up by flip phones....Let alone the advanced Symbian phones available then that were technologically way ahead.
By time the Iphone 2 was out which was the same but finally had 3G...Samsung had Omnia HD. World's first HD playback and recording. Large Amoled that trashed the tfts then. Awesome 8mp with flash. Stereo speakers that still rock. And symbian with full user storage access, 3d muli tasking, system themes, flexibility and functions galore.
Iphone had 2mp, no flash, no video, could not mms, no folders, no external memory, yada yada.

And they must not have read the reviews about the battery consumption on the new GS5 because its awesome! The I Phone started the innovation w/ the smart phone and Samsung has taken it along w/ the help of Android to the next level. Bring on the 2k screen, the figerprint scanner, the heartbeat sensor,and lets not forget all the other gimmicks that were in the GS4 that are in the new flagship now! Love my Samsung! Can't wait for prime model awesome specs. They are keeping the other competition and themselves battling but how many gimmicks can you actually put in a phone before you rum out of ideas? Samsung is probably the ones who will show everyone.

Very Happy in tears! Coz I can't wait for it ! Its releasing in June! I have to buy S5 ! But this a killer ! Samsung is the BEAST UNLEASHED(Brock Lesnar no offence )!!

I for one don't care about battery life since my home has wall outlets so I can charge my phone every night when I go to sleep. I'd rather have better screen. Same thing with microSD slot and removable battery BS. Better to have more internal memory without RAID1 slowing down my phone's performance or removable battery/back cover weakening structural integrity of the phone. Like with everything in life, it's "Different strokes for different blokes".

by the time samsung release this phone.. it will kill all phone and all brand at the same time.. samsung hater always comment about how cheap S5 whatsoever.. by the time S5 go metal, upgrade cpu, 3gb ram, etc.. i hope they will shut their mouth and watch the glory of samsung.. btw dont expect to be cheap since material cost talking here.. how about 750-800 euro? lol

Totally agree. Between 4.5 and 5.1 inch screens are sharp enough with 720p resolutions. Apart from the better battery consumption there's also a little speed increase with lower resolutions.

QHD display on a cellphone is rubbish. QHD is just a marketing ploy for companies. what people really need is a great battery life. and having a QHD display will not help. QHD screen is overkill, heck, even FullHD screen on a cellphone is overkill. more resolution on a screen means more battery needed for the phone. what companies should focus on is battery, not the screen. great example would b the sony xperia z1 compact, w/c has only a 720p screen, but last longer than the sony xperia Z1

Yes Samsung would probably like to beat LG to the point. However, considering how much Sasmsung has spent on marketing of the S5, it's hardly likely they will release a successor this soon.
So this will be a side market project if it is true. But that makes no sense either, since then, it will not be taking on the LG G3.
Samsungs strategy this year is probably two S-flagships. If it's S5 and S5 mark II, or if it's S6, I dont know. But they do want to keep their pace over the holliday season, and by not having a new flagship coming out in times of the holliday season, they will loose momentum in sales. (previous years, some of that has gone to the Note line, but mostly they lost to the competition).
Releasing a flagship now would land them in some akward 3 flagship releases in one year, and that simply is a bad strategy.

my predictions came true.
they are finally launching the F series or Prime or whatever they wanted to call it.
This was pretty evident from the specs with which galaxy S5 was launched.

Please! QHD not! This will only make increase the battery consumption and processing. Benefit even nãoteremos nothing about images. Full HD is very good size. I hope the nexus 6 does not come with qHD, but with Full HD.

How is a high grade premium material that is overall the most durable and practical of the three main materials cheap?
And you do realize that aluminum and glass are also cheap recyclable material right????
