I has been used Samsung mobiles S2, S3 & Note2, now I am using Samsung Galaxy S5 purchased in Tamilnadu, India on 13th April and compared with others ( S2, S3 & Note2 ) not satisfied especially battery life not even coming for full day ( atlease 8 hours ). Now I am using in Qatar, if I called one international call and used just 3 minutes 35% of battery life is gone, now I am realizing why this S5 purchased.

Note 3/S5 costs around $240-$260 and sold at $650-$700/750. $850 in my country though. Here, HTC is slightly pricier than Samsung but Sony, Nokia, LG and other brands are really priced at reasonable budget. Apple is.... Meh.. The iPhone 5S 16GB costs around $1200 in the beginning. Still over $700 for 16GB model though.

Remember how Samsung announced phones that it's rival brands were producing with different and advanced technologies which the actual S4 was missing. So, if there is anything above S5 in competition, Samsung WILL release a S5 with that specs.

You might be right about most of thing but you forgot one thing they uses cheap construction material(plastic).. so overall price of samsung and others came to be almost same or probably they spends more and keeps price same .
