for 1000mah bat, remember omniaHD in mwc? it only uses 1200mah! but in the final product, it will use 1500mah..

i met my friend who work in SE internal yesterday. i asked him about idou camera, battery and video spec. he said "the idou camera and video are not ready yet coz 12MP EXMOR CMOS sensor(IMX060PQ)it self will be shipped in march and the lens module(IU060F)is in september so idou wont be out in the market till september.that is why SE didnt allow you to use idou camera at MWC"
i have already seen the idou pictures in fony.sk and actually the camera is not real idou camera quality coz he said "it used 10MP camera and not 12MP EXMOR CMOS so it was very diff with final version, that is why we didnt add EXMOR or cybershoot logo on the back cover of idou at MWC"
SE hasnt decided idou battery capacity yet till the camera and video consumption are known at first.

I wonder how the "touch sensitive" going to be like . . ? So far nothing come close to iphone touch experience. If Idou can be touch like an iphone . . . .this will be a sure winner.

The picture they show at the bottom of the page is of a Sony Xperia, not an Idou. (thanks to blyb for pointing this out)
And clearly in the Idou specifications page it does not say anything about the phone having a slide out keyboard. NO SLIDE OUT KEYBOARD.

just dont buy any SE.. its gonna breakdown no matter how good it looks. spend a day in a SE service center and you'll be surprised lots of people bringing back their cappy SE fones back. own a SE fone a year and the fone surely will spend about half a year in the service center. SE fones are good but not at all reliable. they probably know whats happening to the K850i and they never extend their helping hand to recall the unit. such a shame for big company.

The idou doesn't even have a qwerty keyboard. Dunno how I could mistake the two. I retract my earlier statement about the windows logo on the keyboard.
Anyway the idou still loses to the Omnia HD. Sure Sony have a 12MP camera, but MP's aren't everything. The aperture size and video quality have a roll to play too, i.e. the Omnia HD can do 720p recording and playback and yet uses a "lesser" sized 8MP camera. The quality is superb on both cameras, but their capabilites are far different.
I like Sony. In my house we have a 1980's era Sony full rack sound system, a newer Sony big screen TV, an even newer Sony Flat Panel TV, and I plan on getting a Sony A/V HD Receiver in the near future. But I will never buy another Sony cell phone until they release one with HD capabilites as Samsung have. The 12MP camera is just a gimmick if it can't record high quality video too.
