Another piece of crap from samsung. n this will be price double that of Moto G (having same procesor to boot). come on samsung. grow p, not gonna be fooled any more with your cheap downgaded and yet expenive products. Anyone looking for a real mini should consider Z1 compact (or wait until z2 compact comes in as it will release pretty soon, given sony now follows a 2 flagship per year policy) Why waste your money on this when you can buy PnePlus One at lesser price or moto g instead and save even more bucks.

You people do know that this will be region locked, right? And it cannot be unlocked the way Samsung says, its all a lie. Go for any other compact phone, stay away from this locked garbage, boycott Samsung products till they stop making you bite the pillow.

I had a Samsung S4 mini (issue: screen quality was too poor and I wanted a waterproof phone).
Hence I sold it in exchange for my cuurent phone: Sony Xperia ZR. 2 issues with this phone: Front facing camera is rubbish and very little internal memory.
The only reason why I haven't bought the Sony Z1 Compact yet is because I can't switch batteries when it's empty. (This is essential for me).
I'm looking forward to the S5 mini, it ticks all the boxes of my requirements so far:
Good screen size so it'll fit well in hands for usability. 16gb internal memory. 2 megapixel front facing camera. Waterproof. Quad core. 720p screen quality sufficient for it's size. Exchangeable batteries. Plus I expect the phone to be smaller than Samsung Galaxy S3 which I owned and found it too big. Lastly, a new feature for me: IR blaster.
Samsung; hurry up and release this phone already! (please)

So all minis now come with the same spec. The S5 mini, Htc m8 mini, LG G2 mini, Huawei P7 mini, Moto g. Only Sony Z2 mini would be different.
