Sony announces the Xperia ZL2 in Japan

The phone packs a Snapdragon 801  chipset with a 2.3GHz quad-core processor and 3GB of RAM.

it has almost EVERYTHING that the Z2 has. stereo speakers, noise cancelling, IP58 and has better internal memory of 32GB. but the screen is down to 5" and some lesser battery which is 3000mAh.

          73.3 vs 72mm
          How does that match with the MUCH in
          "with much slimmer bezels and smaller footprint."
          And ignoring that it is much thicker....
