What does he do really? Design, responsible for everything related to lenses and cameras? or just expert of something photography? I think, he's just the head of photography not the engineer or designer of the lumia cameras. Also when he leaves Nokia, does it mean that he also have the blueprints of every thing?
Guys, when creating something BIG, you need a TEAM. Not just this guy. He's not even the BRAIN.
Apple needs to build a team or buy a TEAM.

Just go read any decent rreview and watch photo samples. If you don't agree with me it's okay but the facts still stands that it's a great camera in all aspects. Great! So he's left a company that utilizes his talents more than once every year (1 for Lumia range, and more for the rest), for a company that will utilize his talents once every other year. Good thing though, he wouldn't have to work too hard for his money. Can someone forward my number to Apple? I would love a job where I can put my feet on the table and my arms behind my head.

Galaxy S5 photos take twice the data of the IPhone5s photos and still arent as good. Yeah innovation eta cramming more pixels in an already smaller than your competitors sensor's. Big megapixel numbers are just for people who are ignorant of camera tech and want to brag to their friends that bigger numbers are better. There is so much more that goes into the camera like lenses , sensor size, pixel's size, stabilization,flash etc.

The iphone has always lagged behin in the camera department! ALWAYS! They came to the market with a 2mp no camera flash no video. While Nokia had 5mp Carl zeis led flash with VGA 30fps.

Samsung should have been the one to hire the Lumia designer. They could have had higher resolution photos when copying designs.
