Ever wondered why a factory reset makes your phone as fast as when new?
There are some apps that can do that- I use SD maid

Sorry guys, but this is how Samsung does business these days. The consumer is an afterthought.
The only reason this iteration of the S5 is being released is because Samsung were caught with their pants down and were ridiculed for the current S5.
HTC and Apple may be expensive, but at least with HTC or Apple, you'll know your device will be supported.
There's no way Samsung will support all these variants.

On the GS5, how do I put a password on my whatsapp and my contacts?
My boyfriend uses my phone to make calls as i have unlimited minutes, but he checks on my whats app and my contacts list and i just want to have some sort of lock on but where you can still make phone calls!

We Expected the Prime from Samsung to be the Galaxy S5 From the Start,but Samsung said they were having Trouble producing the Screen for the Prime,so released a phone with the Screens they had already produced,Samsung then were bombarded with complaints what they offered on the Galaxy S5,an using Plastic Again after saying they were going to make the S5 a Premium smartphone,We then got told about the "F" series phones that were going to be there Premium,but with more competition on the way,Samsung knew they had to Produce the Prime S5 an stop the Critics pulling them down,its the Price an Features that might make the Prime to Expensive

It's perfectly norm... moreWhile in general that's kind of true, for a flagship phone, there is more sensitivity given that the customers buying it are more from the "I want the best" category. Naturally, to make this segment model less than the best so quickly shows a little callousness on the part of Samsung. Updating for the sake of updating, purely for sales and publicity, with the customer last on their mind.

AnonD-5197, 13 May 2014In comparison, the slow down is very similar depending on u... moreI think that's the same with any device though. My HTC one x+ 64GB slowed down to a standstill after 6 months. Have barely any apps (about 12) but had about 50GB of music and videos .
My nexus 7 2013 exactly the same, even less apps (8~10) but loads of storage used and it's really slow. I think manufacturers using such poor quality memory is most if the problem.
