2) Reboot in safe mode and use for 5mins
3) Reboot back in normal mode

You will be able to download 4.3 ftf file from https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B7IL0liVsB-Udk9fYTdTNkNKY0U&usp=sharing#list. Choose firmware and flash via flashtool. Once flashed update to 4.4.2.

Got updated today to 4.4.2(.230), and it's really awesome...no lags, no battery drain, really very very smooth like butter...love it...

I'll repeat this again.. I flashed the firmware and using 4.4.2 kitkat in my Xperia Z with build number .233
In my experience, no lags at all, very smooth and fast, very nice display, battery stays longer but it will charge a longer period of time too. I am very satisfied with the update..
