The screen aspect ratio is look like 21:9 than 16:9, don't you think too?
But snapdragon801 is a disappointing...
Rumor that LG has testing a device with snapdragon 810,but the writer said that device is next nexus... But hope G3 Will having the snapdragon 810,with snapdragon 801,it won't be the best phone in 2014,due to worst performances compare to G2

Because snapdragon 800 just work that well for 1080p (I means graphics intensive game with 60fame rate)
So the snapdragon 801(which only 30 percent improvement over 800) surely can't maintain that kind of fame rate for 2times more pixels (1440p)

If this specs also for international model, then the G2 still remains the best bang of buck for 2014

Show me someone who can tell the difference between 432 and 500+ ppi even on a smartphone and I'll show you someone who's either a liar, or is using a jeweller's loupe to read their screen for some reason. This is just one-upmanship at this point, it doesn't offer any actual practical benefits, just bragging rights for the manufacturer and fashion victim customers. Did you notice that the thing is 75mm wide, by the way? I think I've used tablets narrower than that.

I'd much prefer they shoved the energy used to make that into giving us a full HD (or at least 720p) ultrathin bezel device with a decent sized screen and the processing power & battery to back it up in a narrower, rather than ever-wider package. IE somewhere in the 55 to (MAX OF) 65mm range, something that people with human (rather than ape) sized hands can use one-handed. Could even make it a little thicker if you like, after all my phone is already almost the thinnest thing I have to carry other than my work ID card, and I wouldn't have much trouble with it being a little thicker - it'd certainly be more ergonomic that way. An old 3310 is a much nicer thing to hold for long periods than even the sleekest modern smartphone.

You said "sadly there's no mention of a microSD card slot".

I say NO need to be sad,i don't need that card slot,it's useless,i can't install applications on slot card, but if LG could make it bigger the internal storage will be much better than the card slot.

AnonD-259899, 21 May 2014For all those who are complaining about lack of SD 805, 801... moreYes and if you also look on Qualcomms site at the specs for the Snapdragon 400, it states support for display resolutions of up to 1080p, However have you seen the benchmark scores for devices with such displays using this chip? they are awful!

No one is saying the 801 will not run a QHD display, it's just that to achieve desirable results the Adreno 330 will have to be pushed to it's maximum clock speed (@578Mhz assuming LG use the 'AC' variant of the 801) more often that not, this will have a notable affect of battery life, The Adreno 420 in the 805 would have been able to achieve similar results at more acceptable clock speed thus saving the battery.

This has all the hall marks of LG jumping the gun just to get one over on Samsung, if you are going to go for such ridiculously high resolutions (and lets be honest here, is QHD really necessary on a 5-6 inch screen??)
then you should arm the device with the best silicon available.

After the G3, any other devices with QHD screens that get released this year (S5 and M8 Prime??) will have 805 chips or better, and so the G3 will get dated very quickly, LG should have waited!

Notna, 22 May 2014The only thing this phone misses is a fork and a knife. And... morewith LG G2 you can hold the volume down button when the screen is off to get to the camera, then click volume down again to capture. will probably be the same.

I own a Lg G Pro for 8 months, and really this phone is working very well. One of my friend, own a galaxy s3 and galaxy mega, after last update oh his phones, both phones are very laggy: camera FC, screen lock not always working, every aplications are opening very slowly, and now he bought anothe phone, because of laggy samsuck. My point is, if samsung quickly update their phones to the latest software, this doesn't mean new update is better then oldest. My phone still is on JB, not kitkat, but is working 100 procents well. Samsung have too much bloatware and because of this phone is very laggy. Looking forward for the G3.

I have used LG G2 for three months. Everything works very well processor makes everything work fast and smooth, battery is really excellent works and works!, great HD screen, very good IR remote control the 13 MP camera is very easy and many functions like camera traditional, the design with the operating button in the back I found it so intuitive
I never used like this awesome phone before, yeah LG you are the best.
