Symbian Fans, 11 Apr 2009yeah Symbian OS is cheaper but expensive features & spec no... morehey is UIQ cheaper than windows? but since p800 it has been above all OS. though iphone interface is awesome and stunning but it doesn't serve much purpose of smartPHONE. what my phone does on 208 MHz processor, symbian S series (s40, s60) requires nearly 2 times the processing speed.

DERYL, 10 Apr 2009When will this i8910 be released in the U.S,and is it true ... moreThis handset will probably not be released in the US, just look at other phones like the Samsung i8510 and America's use of the Symbian OS when compared to other 'smartphone' OS's like the iPhone OS, WinMo and Blackberry's OS.
Verzion uses CDMA (correct me if i'm wrong) and not GSM so unless Samsung release a CDMA version of this handset it won't be released locked to Verzion.

last omina was a big mistake putting WM6.0 on it it hurt camera quality and sucks battery like there is no tomorrow. But this one at least has symbian OS onboard so battery should last more than 1 day and pic quality will be much better. But i know this is the second But, but lol Nokia N7 will kill it mark my word cause nokia has the best OS, menu is allways the best and nokia pc suite is great bigger battery and lots and lots of apps. Just basic functionally, yes samsung has hd video recording but most of the time you just want to show pics not video and the hd videos are going to suck your little 8gig storage nokia has 32gig on board. bye

And if you are right that this phone does not really play movies in HD, then I guess that HD tag is just to fool the customers hoping they'd be impressed with the "HD" tag. If I want to record a video in HD, I'd use a digital camera. Just proves that Symbian devices are just fooling their customers with impressive tech specs with not much substance to what the essence of a feature really is. You are a jerk btw =)

1st 0mnia never really sold well in the uk. Hell it even the quite poor n96 outsold it! this will not be any different. yea its got great video recording but its all about sales and the n97 will kill it on that. Anyone who says it won't are deluded
