Android 4.4.3 KitKat OTA update hitting Nexus devices

Till date i have not got the ota update for my nexus 5. I am from mumbai and my carrier is vodafone. I have tried the gsf trick but did not succed. Can anyone tell me what to do.

OK. The GSF trick works but once upgraded, google play store won't be able to identify your device (because the ID is lost). Hence download any one app from your mobile play store app so that the new ID gets registered with play store. I upgraded with GSF and my device is no longer listed in website. Just downloaded one app. Will update if the device gets listed again.

There is no improvement on battery drain after the update.only the new ui for dial and people..

Tried the gsf trick on my nexus 5. Did not work for me. What to do now. All my friends have got the update in mumbai. I am still waiting. Why is it. Can anyone pl help on this.

Magic just worked on my nexus 5. After understanding the 5 would be first to update. No luck on 2012 nexus 7
