Still no update on my nexus 5 kot49h tried the gsf trick twice still no luck. It has been a week since T-Mobile (my service provider) released the update. I bought a nexus to be first in line for update yet the phone still takes forever to receive updates. I'm going back to galaxy this is ridiculous.

Does disabling/enabling the GSF have any side effects?
also can anyone please tell that why do we have to do this where as the update should pop up automatically?
                          hoping for a reply.
                          Thanks! :)
