Sorry, but I absolutely don't agree!!! And because it's just a small percentage because of the iPhone 6 (from 5 to 8%) the other 17 to 20% is because some people will buy the LG G3! and the other portion, is because they are waiting for the Galaxy S5 Prime! (Please GSMArena, review your opinion! !!!)

This is SUPER AMOLED era not LCD so I think this is not because of iphone but because of lg and Chinese companies. LCD is cheap and old technology so other companies sell their phone cheaper than iphone and Samsung. But apple sells their cheap manufacturing cost phone $199 for iphone 5 as compare to galaxy s5 has $255, in so expensive retail price and specifications of iphone is seems like mid range android phone. Anyway good luck apple!

Samsung could have easily stipulated that people are no longer interested in our products. Therefore, we can't keep on manufacturing what the public is not interested into. There was no need to say people are waiting for iphone 6. Now samsung have come to public that they are not doing well. The figures they shown speaks nothing because no production means no incoming money. Iphone My Second Religion

This is not the public holding off on orders. The public do not normally buy direct from manufacturers. It is the mobile phone shops and carriers who are scaling back in anticipation of iPhone 6 and demand for other makers phones. This is serious for Samsung.

What is needed to be said. Any smart company would do this. So many phones are launched around that time. Would be weird if they all bought the S5.

It's not all about screen size, it's about form factor, price, choice of huge range of devices, features like memory expansion, removable batteries, and freedom of how you want your device to look and not how your phone manufacturer wants. Plus these users probably have invested in apps for that platform. That's why I find it hard to believe mate. What proof do you have that all these people drop Android for Apple? Sales of Android devices far exceeds Apple so they must be doing something right!

Two most heavies mobile games out there and not single android phone can handle them like iPhone.
Almost everyone in the future who play and like mobile games and well tens of millions does that, are going to chose iPhone 6 because iPhone is superior in games only thing which so far have held it back has been small screen. After iPhone 6 iPhone is superior mobile gaming device against android phones.
And after Apple announced metal graphics api the gap between iOS and android gaming is going to be even bigger. We are going to see great looking games in the future and android users going to see lag just like now :)
