korean phones like LG and Samsung are for style and entertainment usage.
other than that, just a piece of crap and waste of money.
1. poor battery life
2. hangs a lot
3. firmware and software sucks no matter how hard they try
4. no online updates
btw, i am asian and suppose to support them, but hey, they suck!

Many different sources (e.g. from Germany and Netherlands) claim that the phone has Xenon light AND 32GB internal storage. If this is true, this phone will rock!

It is sad how LG, Samsung and Nokia are all banking on megapixels to the save their lives. What's even more sad are those people who got fooled by them into believing that megapixels on a smartphone should be the deciding factor on which phone they would buy, LOL. Really guys, let's be realistic here. No camera phone, even with 8 megapixels, can produce results like a standalone camera can. It is wonderful of course to have a phone sporting a 5 or 8 mp camera, but it shouldn't be a deciding factor. UI, OS, usability and performance should be what LG, Nokia and Samsung be focusing on if they want to keep up in the race of the SMARTPHONES. Palm, Apple and BB have proven that megapixels is not everything (they have so-so cameras, but have capable OS). Otherwise, LG, Nokia and Samsung smartphones would only be regular smartphones with decent cameras, but not capable smartphones.

It amazes me how some people who post in gmsarena still live with the ideia that the iphone is the reference in touch screen phones.I´ll resume it(again);Want a fancy interface with lots of eye candy?Get the iphone.Want a truly functional multimedia device?Get something else.Simplistic design doesn´t leave room for many awe inspiring ideias,so,why keep saying that it looks or wants to "be" like an iphone?What do you want?Wear it on your wrist?Buy a watch phone.On your neck?Get a Siemens xelibri series.Want to really stand out of the crowd?Buy a Vertu or a Ulisse Nardin.Nowadays,it´s not enough for a device to look good.It also has to be "smart" ;) ...

stop cribbing.. this phones got potential.. LG viewty (1) when released was an underdog to an iphone too.. but it sold really really well. beyond our expectations.
the phone looks class.. its awesome and i presume it will do well too!

Aside from that, this design could've easily had a larger screen without increasing the size of the device. (Just look at those insanely think edges!)
But still, it looks really good!

Iphone wanabe? I THINK NOT!. this is way ahead of the Iphone in terms of specs and even design, the design is nothing like the Iphone. In fact this LG is much nicer.

I have always been a Samsung mobile person... but lately LG have really been catching my eye. I was just considering getting the LG Arena and this beauty has been... so i think im gona wait. Also LG are set ot release (May/June) the LG GD900 Crystal. The phone with a transparent keypad. its looks amazing!
I think my next phone is gona be an LG.
Nokia are falling behind with the Nseries which has nothing new going for it, its about time Nokia also employed a new designer! Nokia phones seriously need a makeour.

i think the reason for no xenon flash is that the xenon-lamp is too damageable to be a part of a mobile phone, because of the wire in the lamp.

Excellent features.
The screen could have been bigger, but 3" is big enough.
This Viewty should have stereo speakers, if it does not have them already!
