CEO, 28 Apr 2009I had been a Nokia fan before but... seriously Nokia needs ... moreyou are saying that Symiab has alot of bugs, which in my case i don't see them and if their existed then in somthing that i don't use in my phone so idc and i have used 11 symbian phones
and sice ur soo thoughtful how do you know Android is with out bugs??
Symbian has an edge since its being devloped for a while
Android we don't even know what are the bugs, and one thing o'm sure about i don't want a phone that can use google maps only, i won't pay the internet fees for GPS when i can buy Route66 , Garmin or any programon symian and use it w/o extra fees and there 10000 better than google maps which dosn't support all countries

Anonymous, 28 Apr 2009You clearly didn't do your research well enough. 40% of Nok... morewhere did u get ur data from? why is their ASP so high? it doesnt tally. u don make any sense. nokia ASP which is average selling price is only 65 euro compares to 71euro the prior quarter.. thats a near 7% collapse. How come u got 90% of nokia sales price selling above 100 eur or even 200 eur.
Samsung ASP manage to buck the trend and post more than 100 eur in ASP and that was an increment compares to previous quarter. mind that not a decline by increase.
What does it shows? Nokia are selling more low end phone that causes ASP to fall. Samsung are selling more high end phone that causes ASP to rise.

Anonymous, 28 Apr 2009What do you mean they don't sell nseries in low bnp countri... moreYeah, Of course they sell the N-series and E-series in Africa, cause all the common people and people with low jobs in Africa use N-Series and E-Series right? Just because 1-2% of Africas cream of the crop uses Nseries or E-series phones or drive Mercedes doesn't mean any of them 2 are meant for the African common users market. Both you and i know that the Nseries, Esries, High End LG and Samsung models are not used by common/poorer people in Africa, it's used by people with good income and that is a very little percentage of Africas population in whole.

Have you guys noticed that it has HSDPA 1700. That's quite unusual. Most of them comes with 900/1900/2100. It seems T-Mobile US subscribers will have something to cheer.

Anonymous, 28 Apr 2009You clearly didn't do your research well enough. 40% of Nok... moreDats exactly why Nokia starts to decline during these hard times. Nokia keeps coming out with "Repeated Generation" phones like those models by adding an "E" or "i" to their models at the end of the day. The problems with NOKIA is dat, they are too into & stuck with Symbian OS which always have lots of "BUGs" to fix with. Lack of creativity on using other or new OS in mobile devices is a fatal FAILURE to a company like them. Disappointed ex-NOKIA fan.

David, 27 Apr 2009Duuhh!! Really?? We didn't know that. You really had to do ... moreWhat do you mean they don't sell nseries in low bnp countries like in africa? Lol ofcourse they do you idiot, im from south africa and frankly im offended, nseries is well known here as the cream of the crop as well as other high end phones like iphone, innov8 an so on an so on, you are very much mistaken if you think africa only get low budget phones, nokia have a website dedicated to africa, they sell well here because the other companies were too stupid and thought africa is a non profit continent, well you were wrong!

And im being honest, i haven't been a nokia fan for long, i was a motorola fan then samsung, then sony and now nokia, (still like sony too) but nokia is number 1 for a reason, there phones are great, they didn't bring out touch because they didn't need to, they didn't go ahead in mega pixels because they didnt need to, they are the best ok .. face it!

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ALL OF YOU!! The higher the megapixel the bigger the size of picture, it doesn't mean the picture quality is better if the size of it is more... An 8mp is not better than a 5mp if you only compare the pixels, its about the lens! Thats why nokia doesn't need to put such top megapixel cams out because there 5mp kicks 8mp out the water, there 5mp cams are great because of the carl zeiss lens! Wake up people!! Nokia is still number 1 as we speak, maybe you should all try symbian S60 for a change... Not symbian samsung

Nokia is sleeping..pushing the old ugly n95,weak n96,brick n82,all plastic...
Samsung 5mp king : g810 (outdoor pics beats n82 but weakest xenon of g810 make n82 wins) plus optical zoom, vga 30fps
Samsung 8mp king : innov8 (all review sites,profesional prove that innov8 beats c905,pixon (sammy too),renoir
Samsung best sound quality according to rmaa test : serenata followed by i450
Samsung is da best!
To all nseries user, please try the innov8..then u'll love samsung symbian or wait omnia hd
To all htc hd,xperia, please try i900,feel the nice fast touchwiz..then u'll love it or wait omnia pro (winmo 7) in q4 2009

soviet, 28 Apr 2009btw nokia is in trouble. symbian is great on regular phones... moreNokia invest money to make Symbian Open Source :) i think Symbian UIQ code still better than Symbian S60 v5 but to bad Symbian UIQ have bad support.. example no native Flash Player for Symbian UIQ & Sony Ericsson marketing division cannot survive Symbian UIQ..

Anonymous, 28 Apr 2009You clearly didn't do your research well enough. 40% of Nok... moreSamsung's contribution to the mobile world is well known. When Nokia's profit margin and market share is going down Samsung is leading the way at this economy. That's quite an achievement. I don't think Nokia started the pixelwar and certainly they are lagging far behind in the race. They are quite late to realize that people want slim phones not monster bricks, they are far behind schedule to release 8mp phone, they took way long time to join the touchscreen craze. That's not the way a leading company works. I wonder how do you reach the conclusion that N95 still makes the most realistic pictures. Can you tell me what's so innovative that you find in Nokia these days? Most of the features were there in nokia phones for like 3 years back. All major manufacturers are working on concept phones. people get into talking when they leak the info. By the time "morph" will be ready for the market, technology will permit other manufacturers to come up with such phones, not just nokia.

maybe nokia n86 will make the most beautiful 8mp pictures. we don't know this until we'll test this. but how big can be this difference to do not buy samsung innov8??? think: n86-700 euro, samsung innov8-350 euro. and this will be in july when samsung omnia hd will be out !!!! sorry, but nokia is overtaked nowdays!!
