Nokia has started the pixelwars and still won it, in terms of quality. No mobile phone can come near theirs, sony idou is for example only better because it has more pixels, but the results showed, nokia's N95 still makes the most realistic pictures.
Anyway, Nokia has by far been more innovative than samsung. Samsung copies design to like 20 phones at the same time. Nokia still comes up with different designs, some aren't always that nice, but they change more often. Samsung is not the most innovative. The iPhone for example is more innovative than Samsung's entire years as a phone manufracturer. While Nokia has some ideas for 2012, that will blow your mind, They are currently working on the Nokia Morph idea, and they have a little prototype already.

H-VGA is a type of LCD screen. Just like your computer monitor, there is S-VGA. For smaller apps like mobile phones and digital cameras, they use H-VGA "Half size VGA, 480x320 pixels, 3:2 aspect ratio."

btw nokia is in trouble. symbian is great on regular phones but touch interface needs to be written from scratch. s60 v 5 is horrible. common nokia invest some money in better os.

Wow! I was really impressed with what's Samsung have been doing. Making sure that no stone left unturn. Using every OS in their mobilephones.

i have nokia n82 and g1. i love my n82 for its camera and other good features. now my g1 i love for google interaction, calendar, email, gtalk, maps and many more features. g1 deffinately lacks in camera and battery. i am waiting for a better phone hardware that supports android os and this one seems to be good. just want to see what lg and sony comes up with but be sure will get this one. cant wait to get cupcake upgrade on my g1.

According to pdadb.net,it use qualcomm msm 7201A @ 528mhz+128mb ram,very2 similar with xperia cpu,but slightly below marvell pxa 624 mhz of omnia

You really had to do a analasys to come with some basic common knowledge. Good for you. And even if i know you making this up it's still pure jibberish. The phones that Nokia sells in low bnp countries are their low range handsets tha cost 50 dollars. You know that Nokia has a high end line as weill for around 400-700 dollars?? N-series phones are very common in Europe but the Nokia 1100 isn't, and vice versa. Just because Sony have a good selling low budget line in low BNP countries doesn't mean that the you can't buy a 5000 dollar high end product from them somewhere else in the world. It's called business. If Nokia started selling the connectivity spec N-series phones in low bnp countries, and for 50 dollars, the you have a case, til then, just be quiet and stop lying about bul*sh*t analasys and stuff. We all know u ain't done no analasys, you are just a hater sitting at home eating nachos.

1. The lower the country's income per capita is, Nokia is more likely to be popular. This drives down the profit and value of each phone they sell. Samsung or LG have more profitable per phone. Nokia's bread and butter is low to mid range phones.
2. In many of these markets, the market survery shows that many people think Nokia is a Japanese brand and that's why so many people like it.
3. In markets where functions do not matter due to poor infrastructure and low level of value added services, Nokia tends to do better.
Nokia is clearly a winner but if you look deeper, it's not that straight forward. Samsung had always been the most innovative company as far as I can see. They have multiple platforms even before they adopted android and they were the one who pushed other firms to innovate on many fronts (camera pixel wars for example).
