All this BS about being lucky again?
If you can't buy it fast enough, just buy from a re-seller. You'll pay a little extra, but considering the price, its still a bargain. I know, I bought 3 Xiaomi phones myself.

So, you, guys feel no pity for the marketing people, shop assistants and owners, etc. who will lose their jobs as we start snapping phones from Xiaomi that does not use commercial marketing or brick-and-mortar shops? ;-)

AnonD-274516, 08 Jul 2014I'm asking you this since you're already using it, can you ... moreI don't own one but have colleagues who own one and have handled theirs. The pro's are it's a fast, capable, cheap device and an extremely good value for the money. Good battery life too, although non-removable. The con's are non expandable memory (so be careful if you buy the 16GB version, I suggest the 64GB) and overall the phone is kind of big and bulky for a 5" screen phone. The design isn't as streamlined as more expensive phones, so you're ultimately buying a $250 phone that looks like a $250 phone but with the performance of a $500+ phone.

I care about aesthetics and design as well as performance and function, so while I like the company, and I like what they're doing, but deep down their phones are kind of fugly/boring so I still stick to the big brand name manufacturers because I also want style. But if you're on a budget, this is definitely the phone to get. Note Hugo arrived at Xiaomi after the Mi3 was launched so it will be interesting if their design style changes and is reflected in the Mi4 now that Hugo is on board.

They do have 64GB but it is currently sold in China. The price difference between 64GB and 16GB version is less than USD 100 (compare to Apple which is charging USD 100 for each incremental storage upgrade!!)

AnonD-274516, 08 Jul 2014I'm asking you this since you're already using it, can you ... moreI have been usin Xiaomi MI3 64gb for past 6 months. I bought Tegra 4 version. It doesnt support 3g all over. My friend bought 16gb from singapore Snapdragon based. His supports 3g. I made a small mistake(3g nt being available) in buying Tegra 4 Version. But I dont repent on it due to huge no. of Pros

                          Pros::
                          1.Call recording available
                          2.Lots of themes
                          3.MIUI cloud storage space
4.Took a lot of photos with it and 1080p videos.
                          5. Able 2 handle almost all games I installed except SX4.
6.Absolute video and audio clarity with and without headphones.
7.Charge goes upto 1 day with my use and when I was bedridden it went to 1.5 days.
                          8.Nice look and quality build.
9.Dialer has block facility nd msg too.
10.Almost all in build functionalities r cool

                          12. Camera is 2 awesome.
13.They have antivirus on their own nd updates on their own
                          14. They update frequently their OS
                          15. They have cache cleaner and various power saver app.
                          16. Haven't lagged since I bought it.
                          Con:

And I dont know whether it entitles as CON. For me it is not a con wid all features and backup. They r yet 2 provide 4.4 update. They hav been providing updates frequently for 4.2 version. Ppl who r lookin for 4.4 dont buy and complain v r nt gettin 4.4 update etc.

Samsung, LG, Sony, Micromax all u guys out there are tumbled in Indian market. Thanks Xiaomi for at last bringing sanity of fair pricing to Indian Mobile space this is the best put together phone at the price point anywhere despite the non removable battery or lack of memory expansion. After all there has to be positivity about sale of 10 million Mi3 in one year. I for one am putting in for the first one in India.

Wow!! What a phone!! Seriously, I was almost fed up with the mobile industry and every manufacturer launching same shit over and over again but this phone got me. The price is awesome. I can't afford a phone worth more than $300. The specs are amazing for the price tag. I wish Xiaomi opens distribution channels and service centres across India. That might increase the price of their phones by some dollars but it guarantees them the number 1 spot currently held by Samsung in India. Simply awesome phone.
