Mizuchi, 08 May 2009The CPU is not bad at all cause if the 5800 runs fine on 39... moreoverclock? they wouldn't need to overclock anything they'd just need to put in a faster cpu. considering the snapdragon has come out with a 1ghz cpu, for a flagship model phone the cpu on the n97 is shockingly bad.

The original expected price IS the actual price. It's 699.00 and it can drop to 624 if you enter a code that removes the free bluetooth earpiece

Paul, 08 May 2009Nokia crap phones what! your talking crap, thay always make... moreThe CPU is not bad at all cause if the 5800 runs fine on 396Mhz Why would they overclock the CPU on the N97 think about it
it's not what the whole world expected but Nokia obvioously ran tests to see what speed was compadible with their modded OS with out sacrificing the Batterylife and the RAM and to me the videos show the N97 evolving
                    -speed wise
                    and feature wise(kinetic scrolling)
and the fact that the UI is not graphically based like the Omnia HD there is no real need to overclock the CPU

take a look at all the videos of the 97 and tell me that this device didn't evolve from the first prototype till now?

Big Boy, 08 May 2009Why rushing to get the first batch ? Don't you ever learn ?... moreNokia crap phones what! your talking crap, thay always make good hardware, the software sometimes has some bugs but Nokia is the best phone manufacture for releasing firmware updates they release them quickly to fix any bugs unlike other manufactures.

With this phone they have made a big mistake on the cpu, it is to small.

Why rushing to get the first batch ? Don't you ever learn ? As usual it will take several months for Nokia to fix the most obvious bugs and the built quality will be terrible. After only one year the price will be down 40 %, like all Nokia crap phones...
