Apple copied Palm, HTC, XDA all of which had touch screen, keyboards, sliders, and external design of iPhone. Apply just put its own OS and pretty much nothing else. Hehe..

If you are so happy with your iPhone, what are you doing looking at Nokia phones? Enjoy your iPhone and do not waste your precious time on an inferior Nokia phone. Why would you bother? Who cares? Too much time on hand?

black and white are the most basic of all colours dopey did the black and white tv also copy apple? did penguins also rip off iphones 'unique' colour scheme?
do you have any idea how many phones and products used the universal tones of black and white before the apple product?
get real... try thinking Ravi if it doesnt hurt too much.

Lg copied the iphone not ... morethen why nokia started touchscreen like 5800 & this one with slider keyboard why don't nokia stuck with their Bar phone or Flip Phone or Slide Phone..! cuz they wanna be rival of Iphone, but fails due to symbian o/s which is not Nokia's o/s, nokia only hardware..! nokia rules when they create their own o/s for their mobiles, instead of using crappy symbian

The sad part is that I was looking at $524 price and wondering to complete the order or not. Decided to think a bit overnight. Then I read thing article with 'fixed" update. Of course I could no longer order for $524. Sucks! Do they at least honor the special for those who managed to order for $524 or $454 before they fixed it?

yea it is bull....i checked it out...its $629.00 after the cart promotion gsmarena gives you....it was a glitch and they fixed it...
Makes me thing can you imagen how many more sales they would have had if they sold it at $454.00? prob a lot more then now..

This promotion is to stir the pot a little and get the US market buying less iPhones ;). Don't worry, your version will likely see more firmware updates, better support, and work a whole lot better after a year or so anyway... When Nokia abandons yet another NAM phone.

N97 has a tactile keyboard unlike the iphone which is faster to type.
The N97 has it's own OS - Symbian s60 V5.
