I had the same experience and problem after updating to Kitkat 4.4.2. It reboots every few minutes and turn-off screen doesnt work, Keyboard doesnt work, no wifi, no 3G. I found a thread under http://forums.androidcentral.com/ask-question/424863-samsung-galaxy-grand-2-error-after-auto-update-kitkat-4-4-2-a.html and followed the instructions
Here are the following:
1. Reboot to recovery mode (be sure to back up all your data, sms, contacts etc...)
2. Perform "wipe data/factory reset"
3. Next is "wipe cache partition"
4. Then reboot to system boot. You will have a fresh Kit Kat 4.4.2. Mine is now okay but have to go through all the settings again. Better than going to the service center.

Recently I upgraded my Grand 2 to Android 4.4.2 KitKat and my phone is working faster and also consuming less battery than before. I will recommend all Grand 2 users to go for it.

I completed the software upgrade download for 4.4.2 kitkat n then I clicked on install , a message came phone will restart n I clicked on it the phone switched off I waited for 15 min but nthng happened then I hold the power key, my phone switched on but nthng happened to operating system it was jelly bean only can u tell why

Actually my phone showing error memory card has blank and unsupported files. Whenever switch off /on it's resolve but it's problem reapting again when battery about to die.

The phone used to run almost okay before the update, but after it 3 times blue screen, 2 times restarting on its own, apps failed to launch and battery drained in 3 hours of on screen "it was about 5 hours before".
I regret buying a Samsung phone after the update.

hey guys after going through all your comments here m expressing my comments regarding the blue screen issue aka Blue Screen of Death..request u to read full commnt...after updating to kitkat 4.4.2 my ph was working nicely there was a small camera bug which was solved after the 2nd 11mb update…but when I updated the ph 3rd time I start getting major problems…1stprob. my ph was stopped vibrating completely…2nd prob my ph started restarting 6-7 times a day with blue screen...i went to Samsung service centre for the same problem…they replaced vibration motor and said vibration motor got jammed thts y ph stopped vibrating…they reinstalled the system software so that blue screen problem will resolve…I submitted the ph to service centre on 15th sept and received it on the same day around 3’oclock…but I started using ph in the evening after office…after using it for 15-20 mins its again started restating with blue screen but this time count increases…ph restated 12-13 times in 4 hrs…next day morning I went to service center again…they asked me to submit ph for testing for 2-3 days…they didn’t care to informed me what causes the prob for 5 days…I used to call them every day and use to give me some bullshit reasons…after losing my patient I went to service centre on 6th days of submitting the ph…they asked me to wait for 2 more days on which I agreed…after 2 days I didn’t received any call from them so I again went their they told me their engineer is not available today he will come tom then he will solve the prob and will hand over the ph till evening…again the same thing happed i didn’t received any call frm them…i called service centre they asked me to come at 6 pm…when I went their they gave me my ph while checking the ph I noticed that the chrome finishing around the phone is damaged….I told them to replace the chrome border cause ph was not damaged at all while submitting…they accepted that it may have been damaged during ph checkup so they asked me to come tom to collect the ph…then I went the next at 6 to collect my ph and while checking the ph I noticed another problem…this time they damaged my touchpad…there was a big red spot on the screen…I asked them explanation why this things are happening…he changed the touchpad and gave ph to me….while checking I came to know bottom side of touchpad is not working (4 apps at the bottom)…I got angry & called samsung customer care and asked them to solve the issue in 24 hrs and give my ph in proper working condition or else ill go to consumer court…one of their stupid engineer came to me and said “sir repairable warranty hai…etna tension mat lo 1saal tak kuch bhi ho repair ho jayega” he was a useless guy…the service centre guy told me that he will replace touchpad tomorrow and keep ph for checkup for whole day and after that he will call me….i waited till evening but didn’t received their call so I went their...i checked ph completely and I found that there’s dust under the screen but I ignored it because i was sure that if I keep ph there for one more day a new problem will arrive…this useless Samsung service center engineers don’t know how to work and they seems illiterate to me…I submitted my ph for blue screen issue and it was a software issue which was resolved now but for this I have to suffer from unnecessary problems which was created by useless Samsung service center engineers…I suggest you guys ignore the blue screen prob it will get resolved in the next update…
