Same problem here (Indonesia), Samsung Grand 2, GPS unable to lock at all after update KitKat.
I was advised to do factory data reset by Samsung Center, same cause - one or more application updates has crash with KitKat.
Loosen back panel and tightening it back the screw doesnt work as well. No update from Samsung. This is a worldwide issue. Kitkat vs Grand 2 issue.

Dear All,
I was also having the camara problem for my grand 2 phone, it was fixed by factory reset of the phone. Please try it. But still i am having the bluscreen issue after updating to 4.4.2 waiting for fix from samsung.

Tried everything including reinstall and then discovered a very simple solution:-
1. Turn on Developer Options (tap build number 7 times in About Device in Settings/General).
2. Tick Do Not Keep Activities
Not only does my phone not crash any more but it's twice as fast.
Please give me a mention if you re-post this fix.

My phone is working absolutely fine after changing the motherboard ... nd updating the phone with the latest updat of 73.01 mb .... ripple effect is also working ... thnx samsung.. now this phone worth 21K ..

Hey guys!
i had updated to kitkat from jellybean and then i started facing the problem of blue screen and auto restart. After repeated complaints to service centre and samsung delhi office i always got a answer from them saying this happens due to 3rd party apps ( apps from playstore).This answer was stupid!!! I think then samsung should stop providing their handsets with play store then! I am very much frustrated because 20K have gone wasted. The handset has turned out to b useless now if they say of not installing apps frm playstore! F*** off SAMSUNG!!!

I m from rajasthan purchased Samsung grand 2 from pondycherry on Feb 22,2014 but last 3 months my camera is not working I've gone to many of ur service centres even to ur pondycherry centre they are demanding bill to repair it. my dear sir I would like to say that bill of the mobile is not an pan card or driving licence which is to b carried all the time pl instruct ur centres to see imei numbers and accept the system for repair and give us as soon as possible . More over all centres want to keep mobile for 4-5 days for repairing it is really very dissapointing us and makes us re think that should v go for any other product of Samsung or not.please give me better solution if possible thnx and I hope u realise my problem

After Udate My Grand 2 from Jealy Bean 4.3 to Kitkat 4.4.2, I facing Some problem such as....
When I call to another person and After Finished the call-- Change Sim-2 option and Activate Sim-1.
How can I sovle it....? Please anyone Advise Me...!!!

When I update my grand 2 for the first time it's only updated 138 Mb pakage.and It Doesn't Upgrade To Kitcat. What's the problem behind it?

Hi all ,
After updating to kitkat from jelly bean I am facing the gps issue . Even though I am on a open terrace with clear sky my phone shows still searching for gps and never ends and when I used jelly bean before my gps will fix in less than 10 seconds . Is it a software bug in kitkat for Samsung grand 2 ? How to fix this issue ? Has anyone faced this kind o d issue and any solution to fix it . If I contact samsung support does my issue will be addressed ? Awaiting your feedback friends ..

Dear friends ,
After upgrading to kit kat from jelly bean I have noticed that gps is not working or not getting fixed to satellites it indicates 《searching for gps》continuously but never ends it's searching even though I am on a terrace and a clear sky above . Is it again a software bug . How to resolve this issue ? Do samsung support can help us ? Awaiting your advises friends
