mike, 26 Aug 2014Is it recommended to get the Grand 2 updation from jellybea... moreMike, my sincere suggestion is that u should not update from jellybean to kitkat, bcoz right now the ONLY is still showing various problems, viz; repeated auto restart after the screen becoming blue, higher battery drainage, etc. It'seems better that u should wait till these issues are sorted out through updations.

Is it recommended to get the Grand 2 updation from jellybean to Kitkat ??? Why ppl are facing a lot of prblems after updating ???? Will this get fixed later ???

once after getting the update you can click for auto update with strong wifi signal or 3g connection should have 80& battery.if u didnt got any update plz dnt try to update ..will cause problem for your phone

1. blank lockscreen for 1 sec.
2.automatically shifting my preferred voice call sim.
3if auto brightness is disabled brightness adjusting bar just disappears.
4. battery is draining so fast.
5. cant change lockscreen wallpaper when ripple effect is enabled.
6 . sometimes keypad wont write as if there is no ink in a pen.
7. some times while calling earpiece wont work. so i have restart my phone.

I think it restarts several times to configure numerous apps to kitkat environment. Mine restarted few times but ok now. But auto brightness gets disabled frequently. Wonder if its because of this update or something else

Hi Friends, I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand 2. I updated the Operating system to Android Kitkat 4.4.2 on August 8th 2014. From that day onwards I am facing the issue of repeated auto restart of my smartphone. The phone screen is automatically becoming deep blue for about 3 seconds and then the phone is rebooting. This is happening about 10 to 12 times everyday since 08th Aug 2014. Please give some feedback.
