4.4.2 on Grand 2 is working absolutely fine. Just clear the RAM and close all active applications before you start the update and do not hurry. Once the software update is done, clear off your logs, messages and any other file that you do not need. This will lighten the memory and then do a restart. Will work Fab!!
Just loaded Asphalt 8 and it works astoundingly well :D

Worst update made by samsung ,lots of bugs. mobile freezing problem faced by many,lock screen problem ,network clash . i hope bugfix patch soon

but from then after my battrey draining problem started
so u plzz wate till samsung releases another update till the
don't ever go 2 service centre

After updating to 4.4.2 data speed is too slow. It's takes too much time to update or download anything.

I have installed the latest Kikat version in Grand 2 .After installing everything is fine but the Automatuc Call recorder is not working properly.After recording a call when i am going to listen again only a bad sound is coming and nothing else.Please give me advice what to do .Please send me advice to my email id

Hard reset / Factory reset did not worked for me. Worst experience having samsung phone, purchased for the first time and ended up with the junkyard. Even if you go to market to sell this, you will have to pay for it :(
